Absolutely terrible experience with Thumbtack and DMV Home Services Inc. — I would never use either again! I hired DMV Home Services Inc. LLC through Thumbtack to install a vent hood over my kitchen range. Instead of completing the job, the two workers damaged the electrical service entrance cable that supplies power to my home. As a result, Pepco, our local electric utility, shut off our power, and we are now on day four without electricity. With no power, no working stove, and no refrigerator, all of our food spoiled. We have been forced to feed our family of five takeout for days, adding even more unexpected expenses to an already stressful situation. I had to hire an electrician for emergency repairs, and so far we have spent approximately $10,000 addressing the damage to our electrical service. The costs and repairs don't end there. I still need to repair holes in both the interior and exterior walls, replace siding damaged by an electrical fire, and somehow get the original vent hood and ducting installation completed. What should have been a straightforward home improvement project has turned into a costly, disruptive nightmare. We are dealing with significant property damage, mounting expenses, and days without electricity—all while the job we originally hired DMV Home Services to perform remains unfinished. Hiring DMV Home Services Inc. has been one of the most frustrating and expensive mistakes I have ever made. Based on this experience, I would never hire this company again, and I have lost confidence in using Thumbtack to find contractors. I strongly encourage others to think twice before trusting either with their home.

Outstanding Service! I had four pieces of furniture to assemble: a 94-inch console table, a TV credenza, and two counter stools. This would have taken me DAYS to complete myself, but Rovshan was in and out in UNDER THREE HOURS with everything perfectly assembled! UNBELIEVABLE! This was just Phase One of my home projects, and I’ll definitely be booking Rovshan for Phase Two! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Rovshan is professional, efficient, and truly TOP NOTCH!
Incredible professional! Assembled a large storage cabinet perfectly. Also very punctual and responsive. Very fairly priced. I would highly recommend his services to anyone !
He assembled a dresser, was professional and did an excellent job.

Great work, great price! Very nice! Super happy and will definitely use him again!
Great experience! Helped me move my heavy packages from my building package area. Really good guy. Great value for The work. So far my dining table and bed look great.
I had an excellent experience with DMV Home Services, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received! He came to help me fix and assemble my desk and swivel chair, and based on what I had been told beforehand, I was expecting the job to take anywhere from two to five hours. To my surprise, he completed everything in under 45 minutes! I was genuinely impressed by how efficient, knowledgeable, and skilled he was. Not only was the work completed incredibly quickly, but it was also done neatly and professionally. Everything was properly put together, and he took the time to make sure the job was done correctly rather than simply rushing through it. His attention to detail and overall professionalism really stood out to me. Another thing I really appreciated was how affordable and reasonable his pricing was. It’s not often that you find someone who provides such fast, quality service without charging an unreasonable amount. I am genuinely happy with the service and would absolutely recommend DMV Home Services to my friends, neighbors, family, and anyone looking for reliable home services. If you need someone who is efficient, professional, affordable, and takes pride in doing a neat job, I highly recommend giving him a call. Thank you so much for the excellent service! I truly appreciate your hard work and professionalism. I would definitely use DMV Home Services again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience! He responded quickly, communicated well, arrived on time, and disassembled our bed quickly and efficiently. Professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I would definitely hire him again.
Ashmel (spelling) did such a great job fixing my mattress. It was very difficult and several people turned down the opportunity to help.
Great experience! Responded right away to the request for a quote. Came in $100 lower than other estimates. Great at communication. Came on time, did a fantastic job and was very quick. Built two pieces of Amazon furniture in 3 hours that would’ve taken me days! Highly recommend.
I wish I could check off all five responses, including punctuality and professionalism. Rovsham did a beautiful job and I’m so happy with the results! Will definitely be asking for his help again, as well as recommending him personally!
