Let me know your thoughts on this review for the caterer: We hired Don Carne to cater my mother’s 60th birthday party. The communication leading up to the event was spectacular! We checked their social media platforms and were confident in our selection. The presentation and previous reviews were highly in favor of a five-star rating, which is what we expected, but only partially received. Overall, the food was good. The salmon was well cooked. The shrimp and grits were good (although the shrimp needed peeling). However, the presentation was a HUGE disappointment! We requested chafing dishes, yet the pans were too small and were falling inward, and foil was left on the sides of the pan. The salad was a basic bag salad, with no toppings and only ranch dressing to choose from. Unacceptable! The poor presentation diminished the dining experience. Additionally, the quantity supplied was questionable, and one item was missing from the original list (which they attempted to correct). This was very frustrating and the substitute was not adequate by any means. We’ve given Don Carne 2 stars. The initial experience was very professional and extremely attentive; however, the final presentation, missed food items and questionable quantity were a huge disappointment. I can say honestly it wasn’t worth the amount paid. We did not receive the advertised experience on social media. HUGE Disappointment.

We had Travis for our annual community meeting and the Tacos were a hit! The corn provided was something new and not a lot of people enjoyed the hot chips on the top, but over all the corn was good. I would hire this company again
Troy catered my wedding and the food was amazing! I had a few of my guests from Jamaica and various other Caribbean places and they all were like that was amazing. Troy is great! He will forever be in my phone for future needs.
Man O Man I can’t thank Don Carne and His assistant enough they cooked there famous tacos for my wife birthday party and she and my family had a blast! everyone at the party was saying how the tacos was really good my wife was happy they interacted with the party danced with us and everything. Don’t hesitate book them NOW you won’t regret it I promise.
Food was COLD! Wasn’t a good experience for my family. Didn’t have any heat warmers, for what we paid, just wasn’t pleasing. Presentation is everything, very poor presentation
We hired Don Carne for our family reunion and it proved the best decision! The food was so good that everyone was getting their food and getting right back on line with the food in their plate getting ready for seconds and thirds! Not only was the food delicious but Don Carne and his team were so nice and fun. We had a wonderful time and we will be hiring again when we go back next year!!
Food was great, attentive to what I requested, no complaints from anyone at my party; Added to the vibe of my 90’s themed celebration. Did expect an actual food truck; this is more a Food cart, I may have overlooked this particular detail when booking. Overall good service.
