Hire the bartender, buy your own alcohol, and stop working your own party. 25 years behind a bar, fully insured with $2 million in liquor liability, and your venue gets the certificate it asks for without a phone call from you. Most of our clients book bartenders and pick up the liquor themselves. That's the part people dread, so you don't do it alone. Once you book, you'll fill out our Potion Planner, a short worksheet that walks you through what you want to serve. Your answers come back as an exact shopping list for your headcount and a printed menu for your bar. Your bartender arrives with a full kit of tools and sets up early. If your venue already has a bar, that's all you need. If it doesn't, we can bring one, along with ice, glassware, mixers, and garnishes. You only pay for what your event actually needs. No, we're not actual doctors. I'm Dallas Raby, and the initials did the rest. When you request a quote, Thumbtack will offer to send it to four other pros too. Go ahead. You'll hear from us right away, and what comes back is an itemized proposal for your actual event, put together by a person, not a form letter asking what your budget is.

Shiralee, so yesterday evening the bartender arrived, he had absolutely nothing to setup or breakdown. I purchased the core reaction, he had none of the items that was on the list. Not even the handcrafted syrup that I purchased for $30. To be clear, there was no core reaction, from my purchase list. No setup & breakdown No cooler No clean service layout No Bar. I propose a return of my deposit of $100.00 with an additional $80.00 for the bar rental and Handcrafted syrups.

We hired Dr. Bartender for a low‑key 21st birthday party, and Dallas was fantastic. He arrived early, set up quickly, and kept the bar running smoothly all night. The signature cocktails were a hit! They were delicious, consistent, and beautifully made. Our guests loved him, and we were able to relax and enjoy the night knowing everything was handled. Highly recommend for any private event.
Hands down if you don’t want to be stressed on the day of the event about bartending, menu’s and setting the mood, go with shakeit up mobile bartending service. They were accommodating, helpful and provide options to pick from so you don’t have to do everything from scratch.

Dallas was amazing!! We had a schedule mix up - completely my fault and he made it work. All the guests raved about the service and he made my 50th birthday even better. We asked him to open and pour a huge bottle of wine and he did it effortlessly. Can’t recommend them enough!
