This was the worst experience I have ever had working with a company listed on Thumbtack. Mark came and gave me a bid and the next day he came back and upped the price $500! Then the workmen showed up the next day and put in 5 hours of very sloppy work and then left! They said they would come back the next day to finish the job and when they didn't show up I contacted Mark and he said that I had kicked them off my property which is a total lie! They left me with a mess and I'm out my deposit. I'm considering taking them to court. Do not use this company-it is a total scam.

They came out to assess my gas fireplaces, to see what was needed to get them working again. The assessment was free which was cool. But they quoted me a price of $1000 to clean the units and replace the two thermopiles. While they were here, I called another company and they quoted me $500 for the exact same service. So, obviously I hired the other company.

Revised feedback (from 2 to 4 stars): The owner Mark called and offered a partial refund. I appreciate the follow up. Original: Technician was friendly and professional. The total was $676 for cleaning two fireplaces and lighting a pilot light, which felt extremely expensive to me, and there was an additional 4% service charge to pay with a credit card. They were unable to fix my outdoor fireplace and said it was a gas line issue. Next time, I would run a Shop-Vac through the fireplaces myself before hiring a company, as I did not feel the value matched the price.

I was not impressed by their technician that came and gave me a quote. He struggled with the simplest task of putting the cover on my furnace back on and it’s really easy to put on. He asked me where the fresh air intake was and I told him and he didn’t believe me until I physically walked him to it. Any one that even has a basic knowledge would know where the fresh air intake was at. He completed and gave me a price of $750 to do a deep clean and furnace clean. I told him I had other companies coming in to give me quotes and that I had to talk with my wife about it. That’s when he stepped out and then came back in and the price magically dropped to $525. I again told him I can’t make a decision until I get these other quotes and that I talk to my wife about it. I also asked how long that price was good for and he said he needing to ask the company and when he got back to me and the price magically dropped again to $415 for this week and $525 for next week. Be wary out there for people that are trying to get you to commit right on the spot. That’s usually a big indicator that the company doesn’t stand by their work.

Not cheap, but they did a great job. Quick, clean work. My wood burning stove is working great, and I appreciated the peace of mind after having it cleaned/inspected.

They did solid work and were punctual, responsive and listened to our concerns. I would hire them again.

Paid $600 plus to repair a gas fireplace for a cleaning and changing out two parts. One of the parts took about 20 minutes to replace and was ) $275 to replace. The fireplace still doesn’t work and they have not responded to me to come back and complete the repair.

They do not provide quotes to perform work when they say they will, even after you repeatedly ask them to do so.

They did a wonderful job

Changed the time they came. Felt it was expensive given the time they were on the job. Afterwords when paying, they said no checks and there is an additional charge for using a card. This should have been stated in advance so I could have gotten cash. Other than that, they did a clean job.
