If I could give Daniel Rivera and Dynamic General more than five stars, I would. Hiring someone to handle a major project when you are not physically there to watch the work can be incredibly stressful. I have hired people to work on properties in Las Vegas, South Carolina, and Costa Rica, and I am almost always worried about choosing the wrong person, being overcharged, or discovering later that something was not done properly. From the first conversation with Daniel, that concern disappeared. Daniel came to the property, carefully evaluated what needed to be done, offered straightforward professional advice, and gave us an extremely fair price. There were no pressure tactics, sales games, or attempts to turn a manageable project into an expensive renovation. He explained what he recommended, provided the appropriate documentation, and allowed us to make an informed decision. His communication throughout the project was exceptional. Every day, we received detailed photographs showing the work before, during, and after completion. We always knew exactly what was happening, what had been completed, and what would happen next. Even though nobody was standing over his shoulder, we never felt out of the loop for a single moment. The project included restoring a converted space back into a functioning garage, coordinating the installation of the garage door, replacing damaged exterior Hardie board, matching the existing exterior paint, and repairing several kitchen issues. Daniel repaired the cabinets and pullout drawers without dragging us into an unnecessary kitchen remodel. He supported and leveled the kitchen countertop and installed a new cabinet underneath it. He also took care of additional details that were not included in our original request because he saw that they needed attention. The garage-door portion required another contractor, and Daniel coordinated everything seamlessly. The garage now looks absolutely incredible. When demolition uncovered unexpected pink paint underneath, Daniel immediately documented it, explained the additional work involved, and handled it for a very reasonable added cost. There were no surprises, excuses, or inflated change orders. The final price—including the garage-door work—came in at the extreme low end of what we expected to pay. More importantly, the quality of the finished work exceeded our expectations. The repaired Hardie board and paint match beautifully, the kitchen functions properly, and the restored garage looks like it belongs with the house again. What impressed us most was Daniel’s honesty. At no point did we feel pressured, misled, ignored, or concerned about whether the job was being handled properly. He did what he said he would do, communicated consistently, documented everything, coordinated the other trades, and delivered excellent work at a more-than-fair price. Finding someone you can genuinely trust with a property—especially from a distance—is rare. Daniel Rivera earned that trust from beginning to end. I would hire Dynamic General again without hesitation and highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for honest advice, excellent communication, fair pricing, and outstanding workmanship.
Researched on thumbtack and found Dynamic General and Daniel responded and went to see the job, provided a quote and timeline that was within 1 week. This was a long distance job as I am located out of state. Daniel and his team completed the job efficiently and without disruption to the neighbors. He sent a video of job afterward at which point I paid them for their services. Highly recommend them and the neighbors called me to rave about the work as well.

Highly recommended! He did an amazing job on our Beach House decking, including the railing systems, steps, and finish work. He is knowledgeable, efficient, dependable, and very fair with his pricing. What really stood out was his reliability. He was always showed up when he said he would return calls and follow through on everything he promised. And today’s world that’s kind of punctuality and professionalism is hard to find the quality of his work is outstanding and worth every penny.
