The vendor responded to my job request to install holiday lights and we agreed to price. We have scheduled the installation for after the rain to ensure the safety of the staff. I will update the the post after the installation is complete.

Service provider did not bring the equipment to do the job to satisfaction. Attention to detail was sloppy. Owner seemed disengaged - left the crew to do most of the work while he sat in the van.

I was seeking advice about the state of health of a tree. He examined the tree and advised me that the tree was not in trouble but would benefit from nutrients. I appreciated his candor.

We agreed upon a price of $150 for him to take a tree, a large box of trimmings, and all the cardboard boxes in my backyard (probably about 25). I asked him if he could take a few more things and told him I would be okay with a higher price but the amount he increased it was way over what it should have been. My wife was here and had him take some items and several of the items were actually worth quite a bit. He took a decent treadmill that still worked and charged another $45. She asked him to take a few other items and each one he tacked on an additional cost to bring it up to $300 total. I would have been fine with an extra $50 to $75 but to double the price was overboard.
