Better communication about scope of job. Did not find out that his price did not include materials until the day the crew started. Did not supervise the crew. The crew was in professional in their communication and treatment of my wife. Work was so bad I didn’t let them finish. Paid for the poor work they did.

Reviews
May I recommend when pricing an interior painting job that clear measurements are taken at the time of the consultation. Thank you for your prompt and courtesy consultation.
I really hate having to leave a review like this, especially as a first-time homeowner who was so excited to get our brand-new home painted, but I feel like I need to share our experience so others don’t go through the same issues. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the quality of the interior painting job. We understand that painting a new construction home can come with some imperfections, and we chose a darker paint color that can make certain flaws more noticeable. However, there were several issues that we feel should never have been overlooked, regardless of the paint color. We had to address issues during THREE separate walkthroughs. While some things improved, the problems were never fully resolved. The ceiling lines were a major issue, paint was left all over our kitchen island, paint got on our front door and damaged it (thankfully, we were able to fix it), and there was random excess paint on the wall by our garage door. The doors and trim also looked rushed, the door hardware wasn’t removed before painting, and basic preparation, such as removing light switches and mirrors, wasn’t done. We were originally told there would be four painters working for three days, but instead, only two painters worked for two days. During our multiple walkthroughs, it was primarily the project manager addressing the issues rather than the actual painting crew. Another frustrating part of the experience was that while we were still trying to get the painting issues resolved and were not happy with the finished product, the project manager was already pushing his company’s flooring services. It was disappointing to feel like additional business was being promoted before the concerns with the original job had been properly addressed. What really bothered us was being told, essentially, that because we got a good deal, we should expect the quality not to be up to par. I understand that pricing can vary, but getting a good deal should not mean having to accept sloppy work or repeatedly point out issues that should have been taken care of from the beginning. We wanted to love the finished product and enjoy our new home, but instead, this experience added unnecessary stress to what should have been an exciting time for us. I genuinely hate leaving negative reviews, but I also think it’s important to be honest about our experience so other homeowners can make an informed decision before hiring this company. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend them. Update to their companys response - While the project manager was there for four days, the painters only worked for two. We were never informed about the staffing issues and would have gladly rescheduled since we had two weeks before moving in. The claim that everything was resolved is inaccurate. After THREE walkthroughs, the ceiling, doors, and trim issues were still not fixed. The project manager did clean the hardware and paint behind the mirrors and outlets, but only after my husband and I had to remove them ourselves. After repeatedly explaining the same issues, we were exhausted and just wanted to be done with the situation. We ultimately had to pay another company to correct the remaining work. Regarding the $400 deduction, we asked to negotiate because of the poor workmanship and additional costs (hiring another company). The discounted price was the price he quoted and agreed to, so having it repeatedly brought up when we raised legitimate concerns was frustrating. We also disagree that the company took ownership of the situation. Instead, we felt the conversations focused more on explaining how mistakes happen than taking responsibility for the work that remained unfinished. We are not going to continue going back and forth, but we stand by our experience and wanted to clarify these points.
My experience with Econo Pro Services was better than I expected. They came in and completed the job in an affordable, timely, and professional manner. From beginning to end the communication was on point, and the outcome was better than expected. You will not be disappointed. This group is 10/10 and I would highly recommend.
