Scheduled at 8am, didn't show up until 11am. Didn't have the right size truck resulting in two trips opposed to one. That in and of itself cost me extra based on what the hourly rate was. Ripped my microfiber sofa and turned it over so it wouldn't be seen right away.

The movers were careful with my belongings and completed the job, but the scheduling was frustrating. My original appointment had to be rescheduled because they were running behind, and when we rescheduled, they were late again due to another job. I understand that delays happen, but better communication and more realistic scheduling would have made the experience much less stressful. Once they arrived, they worked efficiently and finished moving everything into my storage unit without damaging my belongings, which I appreciated. Overall, the work itself was good, but the repeated delays and scheduling issues kept this from being a five-star experience.

It was literally the hottest day of the year. For real. Jay and Nick finished our move in 4.5 hours. That’s crazy with the heat! Also, I inherited a house so there was still a lot to navigate around. The grind was real, they treated my ikea furniture like it was legitimate. I also asked about moving my Mom’s china cabinet, which I have sentimental attachment to, from one room to another. They didn’t know this at that moment. It’s huge, they locked in and made it happen. I’d hire them again as I was happy with their work and the fact this is a small business.
I had the best experience wth them. They were extremely careful with my hutch which is heavy and full of glass. They made sure I knew exactly when they would be there. I'm moving soon and will definitely be using them.
I hired them to help unpack boxes after a recent move, which I know is probably a less common request than normal moving help. They were quick to respond and did a great job. I mostly gave them general directions of what room things belonged in and let them decide where to put things away from there, and they honestly made the moving process so much less overwhelming. They worked hard, were professional and kind, and helped get my apartment functional really quickly. It would have taken me weeks to do on my own. I would definitely recommend them.
Be more professional. Do contracts detailing all costs. It is important that the customers need to know all costs upfront and not when the work is complete. Also, they move extremely slow and without a sense of urgency. When people are spending their money on the hour, time is of essence. They did not have any moving equipment, no covers or dollies, or 7 to move. This is the worst moving company I have ever experienced, and I've moved at least 3 times, and never had i experienced anything like this. This is not a moving company, but a couple of guys who rent a truck and make you pay for the truck without letting you know. I would suggest they shadow a more experienced company to see how it's done. Also, in moving, they damaged the wall into the bedroom, which was damaged, and they dropped the table and never acknowledged that they dropped it or cracked the edge. terrible, and i would not recommend
The guys arrived, and were very professional and fun to work with. They gave real expectations and were willing to stay as long as it took. Due to being several hours late on arrival, and having to go to storage bin. Packing had to be cut short because it was getting dark outside. No lights at storage bin. Due to rushing, I forgot to remind them of my shed items. The guys tho, were professional, courteous, had smiles, never complained, handled any task I asked, and deserve 5 🌟. I will call them and this company again for sure!
Nice guys, but young. And no knowledge of how to actually pack things for moving. Nothing was tied down. And granted I had a mattress and bed frame that was fine, but to not strap in my dresser was negligent and I had even left a tie down strap out for them to use. No self awareness and caused damage to my dresser because of it. Asked them about their insurance because of them damaging my things and they just looked at it and said it was fine because it was still functional. I would not recommend.
Effective movers did an excellent job loading my POD. I would definitely use them again.
Horrible! Received a text the morning of the move stating that there was a family emergency the night before and that they could not make it! I tried contacting them with no answer and no response though text either. They offered no substitute driver or anything. I had to move that day! We had discussed all the plans weeks ahead of time. I will never deal with them again. I will let everyone I know about them and never to deal with them either. Ridiculous. Unprofessional.
