Atlas and co-worker were responsive minutes after submitting the request. They came out and fixed my shower drain leak and did it in efficient time. Will definitely hire and refer Atlas again.
I contacted Yacine to check a toilet leak that was dripping down into my downstairs kitchen. Before he came out, I specifically asked how much he charged to diagnose the problem, and he told me it would be $80. I agreed to that fee. When he arrived, he inspected the toilet and told me the leak was caused by a hole in the cast iron pipe. I asked if it might simply be the flange or the flapper, but he insisted it was a hole in the pipe. He then said he would need to come back at 5:00 PM to replace the pipe and quoted me $1,800 for the repair. Later that evening, he returned not at 5:00 PM, but at 7:30 PM, and brought another technician with him. The two of them spoke to each other in their own language (which I believe was Arabic) while looking at the situation. At that point, he changed his diagnosis and said that both the toilet flange and the pipe needed to be replaced, and the new price would be $4,000. I asked to see the supposed “hole” in the pipe, and he was unable to show it to me. The next day, I had two different master plumbers come out for second opinions. Both of them confirmed there was NO hole in the pipe. They each stated it was simply a matter of replacing the flange and the toilet flapper — a much smaller, straightforward repair. I informed Yacine that I would not be hiring him for the work. He then told me that his fee for troubleshooting the leak was now $180, even though we had clearly agreed on $80 before he came out. I will not be paying the increased fee. I am willing to pay the originally agreed $80, but if he continues to demand more, I will file a complaint to have his plumbing license reviewed for what I believe is dishonest conduct toward customers. I have pictures of the pipe and written statements from the two other plumbers confirming there is no hole in the pipe.

Yasine did such a great job installing our shower grab bars for handicapped accessibility! He and his tech came out to provide an estimate for the installation and ended up getting the parts and completing the installation the same day! Will definitely hire again.
