These folks are professionals. Showed up on time and worked incredibly hard to finish this project for us. They were courteous and left my site cleaner than it was when they got here. I will most certainly do business with these folks again

Reviews
We had a fabulous experience with Jorge & El Shaday flooring. They were quick to respond and got the job done with a few days. We had a few specifications as to how the flooring would need to go down and he did it with ease. Very impressed and competitive pricing.
They did an amazing job for an incredible value. I would absolutely recommend!
Prompt and professional response, quick and flexible quote, and exceptional work. This job was completed on an emergency basis, within 24 hours. We were originally told that there may be limitations on the work that we would need to compromise on, but this was done just to help provide reasonable expectations based on our space. In actuality, all of the discussion limitations were worked around and the job is beautiful.
El-Shaday Flooring were exceedingly professional, knowledgeable installing my LVP Flooring, very time efficient in installing my entire house except the kitchen which already has ceramic tile and on-time every morning at 8:30 am, and personable/nice. They did an exceptional job on installing my flooring. Not to mention, their price quote was reasonable. I couldn’t have found a better company to install my floors and to do a better job in installing my floors. I truly appreciate El-Shaday and his’ men for doing an exceptional job. Thank you so much!
Great Experience. He completed my flooring job perfectly. We had LVP flooring installed by the builder throughout half of our main floor and carpet in the rest. We wanted the whole level to match. We found the discontinued flooring in a warehouse in Maryland and had it shipped down. Then we just needed an installer. We found El Shaday Flooring here on Thumbtack and they were excellent. They fully integrated our new planks to make it look like this was all installed from the beginning. We have zero thresholds now. I would certainly use and recommend them again.
recently had LVP (luxury vinyl plank) flooring installed by El Shaday flooring and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! From the initial consultation to the final installation, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. Not only does my home look fantastic now, but I also have peace of mind knowing I chose a quality product installed by true professionals. If you’re considering new flooring, I highly recommend
Jorge and his team were were great. Listened to what we wanted and executed perfectly. We had a couple of things that were a little outside of the flooring project that they took care of it without issue. I will use again when I do my upstairs rooms and recommend to anyone.
Jorge and his team did a great job with our flooring project. They also got a lot of the creaking of the floors out prior to the installation. Highly recommend!
Jorge and his team did an awesome job. Needed flooring in two bedrooms. Requested services on 1/20/25 response was immediate scheduled estimation on that following Friday. Jorge was prompt and courteous. Flooring job was completed on 2/03/25. Jorge and the guys came in ready worked effectively and made sure the areas were clean when they finished. Fair price awesome work.
Jorge and his team did a great job with our master bath renovation. His communication, tile and stone work were excellent. Thank you! Would use again.
I hired Jorge to redo my shower floor tile as it was previously not done correctly. He came in and did a wonderful job. It looks amazing and I am very pleased.
El Shaday Flooring was simply amazing and very responsive! This company provided great customer service and great quality in installing my kitchen backsplash! Jorge, the owner of the company, was very helpful in helping me determine my backsplash and the material needed to make it come to light. I highly recommend El Shaday Flooring for all your installation and replacement needs. Check out their amazing work 👏
So happy I chose El Shaday Flooring to complete the remodel job on TWO bathrooms. It was originally a Jack and Jill bath and I had it made into two separate bathrooms. George Benke lead the project and it turned out better than I'd imagined. George made recommendations that elevated the quality of work without much added expense. His team installed the shower stalls, marble tile, woodwork, marble sills and countertops. He and his crew are professionals, they arrive on time and complete the job on schedule. I will definitely use El Shaday Flooring on two upcoming renovations, a master bathroom and new kitchen.
We had a 55 x 36 shower that needed tile installed and Jorge was very responsive. When we contacted them through Thumbtack they responded very quickly with a quote and start date. They kept the house protected while doing work. He and his coworker completed our job quickly and we love it! We had received quotes from a few other companies and El Shaday was very reasonably priced. We hope to work with El Shaday again in the near future!
Jorge did a nice job with our backsplash. I would hire him again for future projects.
Hi everyone, I live in Powhatan and contracted with Jorge of El Shady Flooring. He installed a tile backsplash in my kitchen, and it is absolutely beautiful! Jorge was great to work with. We are very happy we chose El Shaday for the tile job. Jorge even sealed my new granite coynter tops - at no extra charge. Would definitely recommend Jorge and his business if you are looking to do anything with tile in your home!!
Jorge and his crew did a great job on our bathroom floor tile installation. He repaired some damage to the sub-floor as well. Great communicator, on-time and on budget. Would highly recommend.
We had our kitchen retiled by Mr. Bencke and his crew. They did a phenomenal job. I am so pleased with the quality of the work. The tile is cut impeccably, all pieces are level, grout joints are perfectly spaced, grout is smooth without a single rough spot or hole. They were on time everyday, worked diligently, answered questions, and everyone who worked at our house had pleasant attitudes to all of us. They went above and beyond in so many ways. I highly recommend El Shaday Flooring and Mr. Bencke to anyone, and we will be using him for any future flooring or tiling projects we have.
Jorge is a consummate professional that does outstanding work at an amazing rate. Everything about the experience was great. From his punctuality to clean up, and everything in between; I was impressed. He will definitely be recommended and called upon for future projects. BIG thanks to Jorge and his son. I have attached a few before and after photos.
