Scheduled a meeting on Tuesday. Told them I’d need advance notice before coming since I have meetings. Wasn’t able to meet with them at the time they could initially come. They said they’d come later that day or on Thursday. I told them to let me know what works best for them. They never got back to me.

We hired Elburn Electric to do service call. Originally it was listed on Thumbtack as $70.00 for a service call. We asked about an estimate he said he wouldn't know until he got into the outlet. We thought he was still working on getting into the outlet, but he had already swapped out the outlet before giving us an estimate. It also was not inset like prior outlet since he said the siding would crack, but if he returned in Spring would charge us to inset it. He was here about an hour and 15 minutes charged us $349.00. These are emergency call prices for one outlet. We wouldn't have used for susch high price. Plus didn't give the estimate up front and just proceeded. He was nice but he is very expensive.

Charged me $155 to come out and tell me my fan is not installable. The whole job with install was supposed to be $175. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS. MAKING SURE MY NETWORK WILL KNOW ABOUT ELBURN ELECTRIC.
Terrible guy.. quoted 175 per fan for 4 fans while other licensed and insured electricians were quoting 350 for all 4 fans. After giving an opportunity to match, he started questioning about why i was asking to match. Sad to see such people on this portal
The work was completed. An outlet was installed incorrectly causing it to blow smoke. It would not have been as much of an issue had the company been responsive in coming out to fix it. Contact attempts were ignored so had to get another company out to fix the hazard.
Pleased with the job he did with the celing fan. Job was comeplte with no hickups and was complete in a timely manner.
Fast efficient work but was a lot more expensive than I would expect and than I’ve seen other people charge family members, but that’s my fault for not asking how much before letting them complete the job.
Do not use this vendor. They broke my ceiling fan upon installation , said they would reimburse me and never did. No integrity as a business. Should not be on thumbtack.
Timely response and the work was done so quickly. The gentleman they sent to my home was so so kind and friendly. Will definitely ask for him to help out with future projects!
