About Elmer Miranda
Hi! My name is Elmer Miranda, I’ve been working in renovations and home projects for several years, and started my own small two‑person business about 6 years ago. Since then, it’s been a great journey meeting new people and bringing their ideas to life. I handle a wide range of projects, including handyman work, furniture assembly, cabinet and door installation or repair, trim and molding, closet and shelving systems, picture and art hanging, and even holiday lighting setup and removal. For me, it’s not just about using tools. It’s about really understanding your vision and turning it into something you’re proud to see in your home. I’m new to this platform, but not new to the work. I’d be happy to connect, talk through your project, and see how I can help.
Reviews
Elmer is terrific! He was punctual, knowledgeable, professional. He adapted quickly when we realized that the scope of the project would be greater than we thought initially. He communicated what had to be done and explained how he was going to fix the issues that came up in the process. The quality of his work is outstanding! Every day he left the work site clean and organized. The price was very reasonable. It has been a pleasure working with him. We look forward to working with him in the future.
Elmer was fantastic! Responded same day and came the same week to assess the project I needed done. Extremely nice and flexible with timing. This was the easiest project I have ever had done since he was so responsive & efficient. The project was done same week I contacted him. Him and his coworker completed the job and left the area so clean. It was much appreciated! I would definitely use him again for any home projects. Project: removing old door and replacing with new door, new hardware & painted.
When I was ready to make the appointment, he asked me for a deposit. I have used this app many times before with other pros and I never had to put down a deposit ahead of time. I do not recommend this pro to other customers.
Elmer is honest, reliable and communicative. He did everything I asked him to do in a professional and timely manner.
Elmer was so easy to work with. I’ve had my area power washed before but the attention to detail when Elmer did the work was spectacular. My fence was filthy the cement snd chairs had mold growing. Was a mess. Everything now looks brand new. Elmer was friendly shook my hand upon mtg had a warm smile and was courteous. I couldn’t say more!!!!! So pleased!
I have had numerous good experiences on Thumbtack but this was the best. Elmer came the next day and worked so quick and cleanly. I hope to get to hire him again.
He was excellent! Needed 3 doors to be realigned so they would close properly. I was highly impressed with his work. I was Completely satisfied....but he wasn't! Would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Very responsive and provided creative solutions. Highly recommend
Elmer and his team did a very good job with my closet issues. They were punctual, respectful and clean. Will definitely recommend them to anyone.
I had a great experience working with Elmer. He assembled my deck furniture very professionally and made sure everything was done properly and securely. He was punctual, polite, and easy to work with, and the quality of his work was excellent. I really appreciate his attention to detail and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable handyman.
