Part of my garage ceiling was wet. My shower is right above that. I thought it was the shower. Nick found it was the shower drain which was clogged and causing the leak. He cleaned out the drain and the leak had stopped. Grateful it wasn't something more serious.

He came and tried to help. He is very nice and tried but couldn’t get it resolved as it required more work. He was there for over 2 hours and didn’t charge anything.
Nick called within minutes of requesting a quote. He came immediately to evaluate the problem and ruled out an expensive ejector pump replacement that another plumber insisted was the issue. It turned out to be a clog that he cleared and after cleaning up he was done. He was very professional and polite. I would recommend him.

My experience with Nicolas was very disappointing. I made the mistake of hiring the first plumber who responded on Thumbtack without doing enough vetting. What started as a sewer line clog issue became much worse when his cable got stuck in the line. Rather than exploring alternative solutions, he immediately pushed for more invasive and expensive work, including breaking open walls. Throughout the process, he was argumentative and frequently complained about the house and plumbing system instead of focusing on resolving the problem. I was also uncomfortable with some of the assumptions he made. For example, he suggested shutting down the house for the duration of the work and implied that my concerns were driven by trying to make money from Airbnb guests, rather than understanding the practical impact on existing reservations and occupants. I felt judged rather than listened to. The work area was left unnecessarily messy. Rather than making clean, controlled access cuts in the drywall, large sections were torn out, creating additional cleanup and repair work. Ultimately, I had to hire another plumber to resolve the issue. The second plumber was able to remove the stuck cable without any wall demolition and did an outstanding job. Unfortunately, I still had to pay Nicolas in full despite the problem remaining unresolved. Overall, I found him very difficult to work with and would encourage others to do their research carefully before hiring.
Nick came, thankfully, the day after Xmas to repair elusive leak spreading to garage and basement. I feared was subject to collaspe. After much effort it was located and repaired. I feel the cost was fair and not predatory. He also returned to clear drain in garage with electric snake. I would strongly reccomend his services.
Nick helped me with a slow draining tub and broken spout. He was accommodating and very helpful. My clog was stubborn but he took his time to ensure the problem was fixed. I would hire him again.
