Great job replacing the stairs and extending the landing with composite materials. Very professional, neat work, and they cleaned up everything well afterward. Highly recommend! Love my new stairs!

Reviews
I hired EMJ Carpenter to remodel my deck and they did a fantastic job. Rhe experience was excellent from to finish. Cristian was very responsive, accommodating and professional. From the quote to the finished product was a great experience and the deck turned out beautifully. They finished ahead of the timeline and communicated very well throughout. I highly recommend him and his team and would absolutely hire them again!
The boys came in and did a good job. They were fast and very communicative. Will hire again
Great work and fast completion. We needed or basement stairs redone, as the old ones were dangerous. They were able to accommodate as well as frame some walls to add needdd support to the staircase above. Good pricing, and flexible to the additional needs.
The brothers were quick, professional, and more importantly, worked within code and permits per my specific villages code and rules. Will recommend for future projects.
They were on time, hard working, professional, made excellent suggestions, and kept me in the loop about the job; completed the work when promised. Will rehire them for a project we have in mind next year.
EMJ Carpenter LLC are the best. We talked about replacing my back stairs on a Monday and started work on Thursday, and finished that day. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
The deck turned out great! Very easy to work with. Cristian kept me up to date on everything throughout the build.
What a great experience! They dismantled and removed the old porch and built a beautiful porch in its place. That was my only stipulation, that it keep the same footprint. They designed and executed the perfect front porch. Even the neighbors commented on how great it looks! Couldn’t be happier!
Chris came over gave me an estimate and a start date. He finished the job early and came back a few days later to just make sure it was done right
We called Cristian to repair structural framing in our 115 year old two flat and add a pocket door to our small/awkward bathroom. Cristian was direct, honest and transparent throughout the whole process and completed work with very high quality. When we discovered water damage in our subfloor under walls that were to be repaired, he was able to pivot and add that (unexpected) work into our project for a reasonable increase in cost. We look forward to working with Cristian again for future carpentry needs!
Very happy with EMJ for their work building a covered front porch on our house. I had to get drawings elsewhere but EMJ worked with the village to answer questions about the build and further requirements to add to the drawings. The deck is very sturdy and they had no issues passing inspections. They were also very nice, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!
Very professional and provided quality work. I highly recommend.
Cristian did an amazing job on balcony! My original balcony is 30'x8' and the wood was start to rot and in dire need a replacement. Cristian was very responsive and came to quote the project within 24 hours and helped me pick out the materials. The job was done from start to finish (project quote, ordering materials, labor) in two weeks. I chose to go with Trex composite material instead of wood. Cristian not only demolitioned the old wood but he also built a new support structure, cleaned the gutters and helps to seal a tear in the membrane under the decking. Cristian does quality work, very punctual and honest. He was a delight to work with and made the entire project smooth and seamless. I highly recommend hiring Cristian. I chose to hire him for the job as his previous reviews have all been positive and he absolutley lives up to feedback provided from his previous projects. Also, he loves dogs which is just a bonus in by book!
Cristian was AWESOME! We started a conversation about the project Monday and it's done Thursday. Responds quickly. Fair priced. Project came out perfect. I needed about 10 feet of wall framed and dry walled. It was am odd space with the stairs but he figured it out. He was very polite. Easy to work with. I will be calling him again when I need something.
