Edwin and Franklin responded to my request for help very quickly. They came to our house and evaluated the job the day after I contacted them through the Thumbtack app. Edwin provided an estimate on the spot and we agreed to hire them. They arrived the next morning and worked very hard all day and got about 75% of the job complete. They came the next morning and finished up the job by mid-day. They were great to work with. We are very pleased with them.

We hired Edwin to do a bunch of handyman work around the house such as mounting large tv, light paint, floor sanding, removing door jambs, and assembling a 10'x 12' pergola. He did a great job and we are happy with the work he did.
Very good
Don’t recommend. A professional plumber pointed out at least 8 things wrong with bathroom remodel: shower doors installed wrong, shower faucet installed upside down, shower pan not leveled to drain at single point, wrong glue for the drain, walls not leveled, sink not anchored & sealed, faucet not tightened, toilet not sealed. He said there will be problems down the road & that he recommended redoing the whole shower pan & tile for $4000. There were other issues of unfinished work: cables taken off wall for painting & not put back on wall, baseboards missing in the closet, outlet covers not replaced, loose flooring in several rooms. I had 3 estimates from contractors & Edwin seemed the most helpful initially & was willing to lower his prices to get the remodel job; bathroom, flooring, painting, drywall. He’s not as experienced as I thought he was with bathrooms. I think for regular handyman stuff he’s fine, but not showers & flooring,
Edwin was ready for the task and came with a great attitude and tools needed to get the job done. He was wonderful to work with and even showed us a before and after video of how he fixed our gutter and cleaned them. Very impressed and will absolutely hire again! Hire him 💯 Great communication! Great value! On time! Responsive! No tacky sales pitch or any pressure! Thank you, Edwin : )
Edwin responded immediately to my inquiry and arrived in under an hour. This was a small job, so we were grateful for his timely response and eagerness to do the work to our satisfaction. Edwin is careful and accurate. He cleaned up afterward and was very pleasant and professional. We would have him back for any job.
I needed to hire a handyman for various interior projects in my home. The work involved painting the entire interior, removing and installing six interior doors, taking out and laying new carpeting in three bedrooms, installing flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, and removing and installing baseboard and door trim. I required the project to be completed within two weeks. After the initial consultation, I chose to hire ESMCONSTRUCTION&REMODELING for the job. Edwin came highly recommended by the app. I rate Edwin 3-stars for value, responsiveness, and punctuality, but only 2-stars for professionalism. These ratings reflect the frequent miscommunications and misunderstandings, as well as the leftover food waste that built up during the project. The overall quality of work as 4-stars because some items that were removed were either not reinstalled or were completely missing.
Edwin had been a pleasure to meet and to work with. His workmanship is great and he met all our expectations. He did a great job with our project and I can highly recommend him and will most certainly use him again in the future. Best of all he’s very motivated, flexible and a very nice young man. He will be our new ‘go-to’ guy for all things repairs (previous handyman had retired).
Edwin was superb. Came early but most of all communicated with me what he needed and we were off to the races. He installed my curtain rod bracket and did it in 20 minutes. Highly recommend!
We had our roof cleaned, gutter guard installed and holiday lights hung and they did an excellent job. Spent the time doing the job right. Very responsive and friendly to work with.
