Thorough job
The tech asked me how often I replaced my filter, I told him I never have, because the unit was NOT in running condition. He told me that my fan motor was really dirty. I said ok but its not operational at this time and has not ran for over two years, that is why your here to tell me what is wrong. He said the unit is old and needs to be replaced, I said ok but what is wrong with it at this time. I told him that it blows a fuse when I turn it on via the thermostat. He said there is a 24volt ground and he didn't try to find it, just said that the unit is old and needs to be replaced. He asked if he could send out a salesman to let me know how muck it would be to replace the entire unit. All this because a have a 24volt ground, that I told him about, that was why I was blowing fuses. Was also told that the $103.17 would be waved if I was to purchase a replacement unit. We will see if that happens. The salesman came out and yes we will be replacing the entire unit not because of anything the "tech" said but because we plan on selling the house in a year or so.
The AC was functioning at 80% (temperature going down but not quite reaching the target) when I called them. After their service, the AC stopped working completely within hours. I called them again. After checking, they said that the coolant was low and they will come back to refill. The person claimed to be fairly knowledgeable but I asked him to check if there was a leak first. He found a significant leak on checking. The AC was working fine for 4 years and it stopped working after the service. The company did not take any responsibility for the sudden breakdown and tried to question me by saying that the employee who serviced it earlier has left and that they have no way of verifying that. I have a little kid and I had to get it fixed immediately by them due to the heat. But I would recommend staying away from them.

Really enjoyed working with the tech and learning about my system for a general tune- up and routine maintenance. Alex took his time to kindly explain my system, how it works, and how to maintain its life and keep it working. We didn’t need anything major and Alex took the time to make the small adjustments to keep our system running for the long haul.

Essential heating installed a heat pump for me in bothell. Excellent work, i couldn’t be better served, from the moment I started communicating with Christian (super responsive, attentive to detail, friendly), the seller specialist, to the actual installation, everything happened nice and smooth. I highly recommend their work.

Amazing HVAC company to work with!! Got a new Mitsubishi heat pump installed with them and the experience was great!! Clean installs as seen in the photos, super responsive on a couple of follow up items like installing wifi connectivity for the custom thermostat and county inspections. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for your HVAC needs!!
Outstanding company - highly recommend. Installed a ductless single unit system in primary bedroom. They were extremely transparent and responsive at every step of the process. I will definitely use them again. Cannot recommend enough.

Essential Mechanical was one of 4 companies that we called to get a bid for A/C install and in short we went with them primarily due to their knowledge and their price is very fair. We have 3 temperature zones in our house and they were the only ones who brought up which units to purchase, the other company's salespeople weren't aware that not all units support multiple zones. Last thing to mention is that when they were done, they did a full audit of which vent was tied to which zoned area (you can't always tell which Nest unit goes to which room, for example they told us that an upstairs Nest actually worked for 1 vent downstairs.) Anyways, I highly recommend them. Aside from cost and knowledge, they are the ABSOLUTELY nicest and well mannered guys, while also maintaining professionalism. You'll see my reviews in sites, mainly because I have zero hesitation about recommending them and I hope they continue to be successful. BTW, I'm in Kirkland and there was no hesitation for them to come this far.

Had a great experience with Essential Mechanical installing air conditioning in our home. They were friendly and professional, as well as quick! We had a quote done and it turned out that they had the equipment we wanted in stock and were able to install it within two weeks, and the day of installation only took about 6 hours. They also installed a new thermostat for us, which we had purchased elsewhere ourselves. Everything was done neatly and we are very happy with the result! Can’t wait to fully use it next summer!
Ben and his team did a great job to install an AC for me. They started with a onsite check to see what components are available and what are needed. After that, three quotes are provided based on different models. Everything is clear. They are also very responsive to any questions that I have. The installation is also smooth and I am satisfied the final outcome.
