We had a recessed outlet installed. Literally perfect. On time, professional grade work, no hiccups whatsoever. He educated us about the wiring the previous owner had done too. We will be using him for odd jobs from here on out.

Extremely disappointed with this experience. I hired this contractor through Thumbtack for electrical work during our kitchen remodel because he was listed as an electrical professional. Instead, I ended up with poor workmanship, damage to my home, incorrect installations, and additional expenses and work of my own. Among the problems: • He literally tore large sections of ceiling drywall apart to remove the existing lights, yet still failed to properly complete the lighting work. • Marked the location for the microwave outlet but installed it approximately 10 inches lower. • The under-cabinet lighting stub-outs were not installed where originally requested, and two junction boxes that were supposed to be concealed above the cabinets while remaining accessible were not placed as planned. • Three switches were left dead after moving a light, while an unnecessary switch was added in the dining room and the original switch was left dead. • Testing the kitchen GFCI shows that it shuts off power to itself, while other kitchen outlets remain energized. • He tore insulation out of an exterior wall, threw it away, and never replaced it, leaving me to purchase new insulation and redo the affected areas. • He damaged drywall and left a mess in the laundry room. I have had to go back through the work myself, identify problems, purchase materials, and repair or restore areas that should have been properly completed the first time. I hired a professional because I expected professional electrical work. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. I would not recommend this contractor for electrical work. I only wish we could get our money back and have the entire job redone by a qualified professional.
