This is a family owned company that really knows it's stuff, but I didn't get good results. I'm really sad to have to give an other than stellar review because they are nice people, but wanted to be honest: 1. Removal of foliage and laying of sod. Long story short the sod didn't take in 2 places. The owner promised to replace any sod that didn't take and we agreed that one of the places should indeed be replaced. He didn't do it. 2. They removed a tree I had intended to keep. I sent photo explicitly asking to keep it and remove everything else. I guess that could have been a miscommunication, but not sure how. I had to replace the tree and did so myself. (Since they never came and replaced the sod in that area nor would they commit to a date when they would.) 3. Hardscape .... When doing job #1 the owner and I discussed my desire to hardscape either side of my driveway ... He showed me beautiful work that they did for someone else. Again, I asked what it would cost. He asked what I wanted to pay...I offered a price, the owner stated a higher price and I agreed. I'm new homeowner and didn't know what it should cost, but wanted to use them because of how nice they were and the good initial work on removing shrubs and laying sod. At this point he asked me to wait to see if sod took and if it didn't they'd replace it. They didn't do proper measurements or materials estimate for the hardscape, so upon beginning, ran out of materials and had to keep running to get more, and I began getting texts with reciepts... To inform me that material costs were more than he thought. My initial estimate was labor and materials combined. At a point in the day... He even offered to stop and use cheaper materials than initially promised to get the job done... The owner revealed later that the materials he promised to use on my job a few weeks before, were sold to other jobs. Despite having opportunities to measure and properly estimate what materials would be needed to create what was promised and disclose that more funds were needed for the job; they didn't... and instead didn't give me good work. In the end: The area to be paved was less than initially agreed; the finishing was sloppy and what is devastating in addition to having to pay $500 more than the initially quoted price... The hardscape that was indeed installed started to warp in less than 2 days and gaps between the stone dust and the pavers rendered the whole area a tripping hazard and unattractive. They didn't do work on the days agreed, with no warning that they weren't coming. When I'd reach out to ask if they were coming they'd say "Oh, I'm fixing trucks"... and didn't respect that I took off or made work from home arrangements to be there while they work. On the job, after a robust discussion about edging and an agreement to use high quality materials to edge the edging was still too short and again left jagged rather than finished. I even showed him the photo he showed me as a reference for the work standard I wanted. (I have visually impaired family and friends the uneven surface and sharp jagged unfinished edging is dangerous for me and them...) After contacting the owner for support in this matter ... no offer to rectify the quality issues was made and now I have paid more than I was planning for something that is going to have to be re-done. I'm sure this company is great for many things, but unfortunately for me my experience with them was not ideal in the end. Sad because I thought I had found a landscaper for the long-term and even recommended them to my HOA, after the first sod job, despite the sod failure and the tree removed on accident. Advice: Get a formal written estimate broken down by labor and materials potentially aquire adequate materials for the job oneself and ensure that they are installed properly. No matter how nice the owner is, (because he is nice) insist on proper estimates. Else, you have no recourse if he over promises and under delivers. The sod garuntee was not real, get that in writing too... (One side took another didn't...meaning I did the care to the sod that was required for it to take properly.) I'm a new home owner, so I didn't know what I didn't know until it was done, his time is gone, my time is gone (the date he said he'd come he didn't and I had to move a trip to accommodate) and my money is gone. My family and friends didn't want me to pay the invoice he sent charging the originally agreed amount as labor and adding on $500 more materials when the scope of the job he quoted didn't change. I'm sure he took a loss on this job (he had to pay his labor material costs) and I did too. If the job was too much for them as a company to get the ground level (which he promised) and edge properly... Then they shouldn't have taken the job or shown photos of a finished product that wasn't anything like what he'd do at my place. I thought the hardscape would settle and that it would look like what he promised. It looks worse than day if completion after 2 days... No walking on it nothing... After he had my money he says "it was uneven at completion and you can put a couch on it"!!! He's not standing behind his work, nor offering to come fix it because he knows it was not good work. The first picture is what he showed me as what I'd get in quality of work, it is among the portfolio photos in his profile here. The marked photos are what I got. Assuming the profile photo is genuine, they can do great work, but for me they didn't... And charged me more than agreed, the surface looks bad and when I reached out concern and unhappy...is treating me like they did me a favor. *Disappointed and now, disrespected.* Peace and blessings.

EUG did an amazing job removing what I called “the jungle” in my backyard. They responded immediately and were able to get on site the next day. I am extremely happy with the quality of work, professionalism, value, and service. I am already having them price more work.
In addition to cutting the grass they are providing actual full service lawn care.
