These guys are a bit more expensive but they were very responsive and fast to get us scheduled. We decided to hire them based on their availability.
My swamp cooler broke and I have no cooling system in my house and I have a sick dog recovering from cancer. I scheduled an appointment on Wednesday for the following Monday only to have them cancel last minute due to overbooking. This was very disappointing since I had scheduled long prior and am in dire need of fixed cooling during this heat wave.
Didn't get to experience the actual technicians or their work because the scheduling was terrible. I originally scheduled for last Saturday and asked if they could try for morning and they said they'd make a note. Then they got back to me and said that if I could wait till Monday, they'd guarantee me that they could get both their electrician and plumber to the house (which I'm under contract on and have to schedule times to be there) at 9:00am, so I switched to Monday. I get to the house at 9 and wait 10 min before reaching out to the scheduler and asking for an eta. I hear back "our technician is about to be on his way shortly". I then ask where they are coming from so I know how far away they are and don't get a response for another 10 min and I'm told they are on their way. So I ask again where they are coming from since it is now 9:22 and I have to leave by 10. THEY WERE STILL 30+ MIN AWAY. Total waste of my morning and I held off for multiple days so that they could actually be there at a certain time like they promised.

Our power went out last Friday on our sons Birthday. Timing couldn’t have been worse! We searched on Thumbtack for an electrician company that could come help us fast. Most companies were charging very expensive service fees just to come out, but Express Home Services was the most affordable option by far. Our technician Aaron arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem right away. Explained that our main breaker was fried and the whole panel needed to be replaced. He was extremely friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We are going through some financial difficulties and couldn’t pay the full amount up front, but Express Home Services truly worked with us and helped us get an amazing deal so we could get our breaker fixed and our power restored. Aaron even checked on us over the weekend to make sure everything was okay, and the owner personally helped accommodate our situation. You can tell this company genuinely cares about people, not just business. We are beyond grateful for their kindness, honesty, and incredible customer service. Aaron was a real professional! He was able to easily troubleshoot the issue I had with my ceiling fan. He finished it so quickly that I asked about doing something he didn’t come there to do. Install some outside lighting for me. He was happily able to do it! Would hire again. Very affordable too.

A great company. They responded back with in 30 mins, and set up a date to come evaluate our needs. Aaron and Xavier were prompt to the appointment. Very kind, easy to talk with, they were both patient as I was communicating with my husband on the phone. They gave us different options and didn't press one over the other, allowing us to decide. Horrible experience trying to get an estimate from this company. When they came in over $1000 higher than the next highest bidder they said they could “match” pricing…. That turned out to be FALSE!! Then they tried to blame the fact they couldn’t match the price on me as a potential customer! Avoid at all cost. Expensive and deceptive estimating process.
Fast and efficient.
I had another company replace my old water heater. After igniting the new heater a terrible rubber smell filled my house. The heater wasn’t drafting. The technician said he didn’t have time to fix the draft turned off the pilot & to call another company. I asked him WHO should I call? He shrugged his shoulders, said a HVAC company & left. I contacted Express Home Services & they dispatched a technician early the next morning for a free estimate. I explained the situation to Rocky (their technician) plus added I had a previous problem with a squirrel getting in the flue. Rocky jumped right in & started dismantling the exhaust pipe, shined his flashlight in the pipe & saw it was blocked. A few screws later there was the squirrel! Due to his determination to solve my problem the other company left me, I gratefully offered to pay a trip charge & Rocky took the squirrel to his final resting place. Thank you Rocky!
