Marcelo did an excellent job sanding and staining my floors. He offered a very fair price, showed up on time, and delivered exactly what he promised. Even when the scope of work expanded and I added more at the end, he stayed professional, flexible, and fully committed to getting everything done right. The quality of his work speaks for itself, and it’s clear he takes pride in what he does. I would absolutely recommend Marcelo to anyone looking for reliable, skilled flooring work.

Reviews
Marcelo sanded and stained our floors when we bought our house. He worked with us to get to the stain color that we wanted, including doing a second layer of stain.
Marcelo’s team did excellent work on my hardwood floors. Everyone was professional and efficient and Marcelo took his time to make sure I felt comfortable with the plan, what would be done, and in what timeline. The price was very fair, especially for a smaller house like mine where sometimes the minimums can blow up the cost per sq ft. I would hire Marcelo again without hesitation.
This was my first experience hiring on thumbtack. I was extremely impressed with the outstanding workmanship from Marcelo and his team in refinishing my hardwood doors. The attention to detail and quality of their work exceeded my expectations, leaving my floor looking brand new. Marcelo was very responsive, professional and was able to answer all of my questions so I understood exactly what he was doing. His team was efficient, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I will definitely hire them again soon for more projects around my home! Please see the photos below for your own reference! Thank you again Marcelo,
Marcelo was very responsive, punctual and delivered what was agreed. My refinished floor looks great.
Even though he did a beautiful job on the floor but his team did such a bad job securing everything else. We paid 600$ for moving stuff. His men didn't even cover the sofa first we had to request that as well. None of the stuff on the kitchen counter was secured or moved to rooms. The only things were oven and kitchen rack. They had so much dust on them, there were not even cleaned. None of the kitchen cabinet, fridge, basement, rooms opening were secured. Every food item and kitchen cabinets was contaminated. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but we were busy cleaning all day, have been cleaning since we arrived at 1.30 pm till 9 pm. We hired cleaning services and paid $300 but they refuse to clean this much and the dishes, as the dust was everywhere so all the dishes and containers have to be removed and cleaned before the cabinets can be cleaned. So even with the cleaning crew we spent 7-8 hours cleaning . There were 7 large plastic bins worth of dishes / stuff to clean. Even the coat closet was contaminated with dust, we had to clean ourselves all the shoes. The dust went all over the basement.
Marcelo and his team were wonderful to work with. They were punctual, honest, did a great job on old floors which now look new, and very professional The value is very good and any concerns I had were addressed promptly. Even came back to fix some small item that bothered me. Would HIGHLY recommend. Hire Marcelo at Fine Flooring!
Marcelo is a stand up guy. He was quick to respond and took his time with my elderly mother. I appreciate him coming twice to give a quote so that she could make a decision. He was fair and reasonable with his pricing. He started the job the very next day and was reliable and returned when he said he was. He kept things neat and clean. The floors look amazing! Like brand new! I highly recommend Marcelo! Thank you.
We are so happy with the work. Marcelo and team showed up on time everyday, very professional very knowledgeable with the work done. I will always recommend him.
Floors came out beautiful. Top notch service. Highly recommend.
