Reviews
Excellent service and very reliable!
If I can give more than five stars ⭐️ for Rock The Handyman it will fill this entire review!!! Rock is professional, responsive, ethical and transparent. He is highly knowledgeable in what I needed him to do and it was done ✅ neatly. We needed a new electrical wall unit placed in our garage for a freezer and deep freezer. Rock quoted a price and although he went over and beyond he did not increase his price which was valuable!! He is very honest and a hard worker. I have him as our electrician and handyman!!! I refer him to friends and family. If you need a honest professional call on Rock! Kudos to Rock The Handyman!!!
Rock was responsive, professional and reliable. We are more than happy to give 5 stars given our experience. We will be using him again with our next project.
Rock replaced two light fixtures and a GIF in the kitchen for us. He is very friendly, very professional and very easy to work with. He did a very good job. I would definitely hire him again.
The rock was a professional contractor that handled my bathroom needs very efficiently. I will hire him again!
That was my first with Rock which I picked his company randomly ! But later I found his work performed very professionally and customer oriented.
Rock was very quick to respond to me and made himself available very quickly to solve my ceiling fan issue. Highly recommend him.
Don’t hesitate to hire him. We misjudged the height of our ladder compared to our foyer and felt it wasn’t worth our safety to try and do it ourselves without the right equipment. He was able to fit us into his schedule the same day and was incredibly fast with responding. He did the job quickly (and so much better than we would have if we did it ourselves lol) and with so much care and consideration for our home. It was clear he knows his stuff and is an expert in what he does. He was also patient with our curious kids (and a few curious adults). I’ll definitely consider him first for any future jobs.
Rock was phenomenal. He communicated great. He showed up on time. He knows his electrical stuff inside and out. We started with one or two jobs, but ended up doing three or four different jobs because he was so exceptionally good at electrical work.
He was quick to respond, took on another project while here and did stellar work. A loose light, a fan pull and hanging a large mirror. You should definitely hire him.
Rock did an amazing job hanging our chandelier. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended!
Rock did the most incredible job! I could not be happier with his work! I’m so happy I found him!
Rock had done a great job to replace my kitchen sink, the new sink looks amazingly gorgeous! I highly recommend Rock for his professionalism, responsive , highly quality of service as well as the reasonable price charge. The first picture is the new sink Rock just installed today, the second one is the original sink.
Fixed cabinet door & caulking.
Build 2 dressers from IKEA, took down an old tv that was mounted on the wall and exchanged tv mount and mounted the tv. Did more than an amazing job. Also, mentioned an issue with a closet door and he right away went and fixed it. Definitely will be using him for more projects!
10/10 will call him for more work
My first really bizarre experience on Thumbtack. I originally needed someone to do a screen repair after the tornado took out the top screen on my patio. I was quoted $150 for labor, visit, and materials which was higher than I usually pay but decided it was worth it considering the height and how big of a hole it left. He got right to work after assessing the damage and added a damaged smaller screen the was also ruined to the bill. After he told me the other areas that needed repair, the price became $200. I agreed, considering it would cover the necessary patch work. The price eventually increased to $245 after he said I would be responsible for materials since he didn’t have any proper screens available. He drove to Home Depot and got the wrong material at first which he said I would not be responsible for since it was his error. It’s not much about the cost but it seemed entirely unprofessional with the constant change of the original agreed upon price. I’m not oblivious to the urgency for people to take advantage for opportunities/more business but it was an overall unfortunate and disappointing experience. He also reiterated statements that he would have rather stayed home than do the job since it was a “small job”, someone stole his ladder, and “it would be too hot outside” (it was 82F before it rained and cooled down). I told him I was grateful he took the job (I’m not sure what any client is expected to say after hearing that). In regards to the alleged stolen ladder, I recommended he file a police report but he stated he did not believe anything could be done by PO. Fair enough. My neighbors and I didn’t find any footage of anyone stealing anything during the time. So I pitied that his ladder got stolen, especially within minutes of him returning it to his car. The work started at 1pm and finished around 9:15pm due to the rain (I’m guessing). He said he usually charges per hour, and stressed how he had to use his own tools to get the work done, and I should be somehow grateful he wasn’t charging me for that additionally, you can imagine the rest of the conversation…I questioned his motives but didn’t make too much of a fuss with the comments since he seemed agitated. I just ended up paying him to get out of the painful conversation. I usually tip but this was crazy. Since it was night by the time he finished, I didn’t get to fully see the finished work until the morning where I saw blue tape patched for the holes he said he could resolve for me. 😂 but hey! He left me with the DIY kit!
I would definitely use again!
Leveled the ground and built our shed. Great work, easy communication. Recommend 100%. Thank you.
