it was hard finding someone to fix our trash compactor. they reached out right away, showed up quickly. found the parts on a 20+ year appliance and got it working again.
Called for a diagnosis on a 3.5 year old ConServ convertible freezer not cooling properly. The technician did not disassemble the unit and ran it briefly before concluding it was fine and the "third party thermostat isn't working right." When I asked for clarification before paying, the fee was waived but no explanation was given. Fee communication was also inconsistent — waived, reinstated, then waived again. In this case the diagnosis did not hold up, and disputes were not handled professionally.
Came out on short notice, fixed the issue without trying to replace all sorts of parts. Quick and respectful.
