He was very nice and courteous, and I appreciated his pleasant demeanor. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the outcome of the project. I hired him to hang some pictures and install a magnetic glass whiteboard in my office. Unfortunately, the glass whiteboard shattered during installation. I was surprised that he did not have a drill to properly install the mounting hardware and instead used a hammer, which resulted in the glass breaking. I now have to replace the whiteboard and wait for the replacement to arrive before it can be installed. While he was very nice, I was disappointed that the proper tools and installation method were not used, especially when working with a glass product. My replacement arrived today and hope this project can be completed. The technician was kind and very nice and I truly understand this can happen. But maybe using a drill would help. I am hoping to get this completed before the weekend.

I used Shervin to help remove old window coverings, replace them with new blinds and cellular shades, and to mount some artwork. I could not be happier with the results. Not only did Shervin manage to accomplish all of this work in just over an hour, he was neat, professional, and patient with my questions and indecisiveness. Five stars! We contacted FixTMan through Thumbtack. They were totally transparent about the way they work, assigning vetted professionals to each project rather than representing an individual or a small business. Our assigned person was able to come the very next day in a time window that worked for me. He arrived perfectly on time and hung my blinds quickly and efficiently. As seniors, we are beginning to look for services to do some of the handy chores we used to tackle ourselves. I’m so happy we have found a great service to call!

Tech was not listening, did not consult manual, did not use level, drilled several holes experimentally on a visible wall, didn't have proper tooling. His phone was not charged. Didn't bring screws. Not prepared, not handy, could not handle basic Elfa installation. When he knocked over a heavy 85" metal vertical rail onto the hardwood floor, we asked him to stop and leave. Didn't bring metal stud finder when we were specific in post that we had metal studs Attached photos show how we taped out the installation ahead of time, which he couldn't understand and didn't follow, and the metal rail he allowed to drop on the floor.

I needed help hanging four curtain rods across some large windows in my apartment. FixTman quickly responded to my request and provided an estimate, and were able to come out to complete the work within a couple of days. Their technician David showed up on time, and was efficient and professional. He checked to make sure the curtain rods were where I wanted them, and got the job done in just a little over an hour. I plan to hire this company again for other work I need in the future.

We recently scheduled a microwave installation, but the experience was very disappointing. The technician was unable to complete the job and said it was a faulty unit. He was about to leave without repacking the unit, and when we raised concerns, he mumbled throughout, avoided direct responses, and even threw parts around. His behavior was completely unprofessional. Very dissatisfied with how this was handled and hope the company takes appropriate action.
