Josh did a wonderful job installing bottom-up blinds for us. He was very kind, and he worked quickly and efficiently. We really appreciated how much care he took working with two non-standard windows, he took the extra time to ensure the blinds would be framed just right, even though the window frame had some warping. It seems like a little thing now that the job is done, but it looks very professional and we are very happy with it, and we know how tricky those two windows were to get right. Big thanks to Josh for installing my Fleximount ceiling rack. I was struggling to get it level and into the joists myself. Josh handled everything — measured it out for proper clearance, secured it to the joists, and got it perfectly square. Took all the stress out of the project. I hired FixTman and do not recommend them to anyone. They outsource their work, and communication was very difficult. The handyman (Ali) was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m., but on the day of the appointment I received a text saying his car broke down and asking if he could arrive between 12–1 p.m. He eventually showed up with an additional handyman, which I never agreed to. All three closets were built incorrectly in the exact same way and did not match the reference image or instructions. When I pointed this out, I was told it must be a manufacturer defect. I contacted FixTman customer service and was told to call the manufacturer and that FixTman would pay for replacement parts. However, the manufacturer’s only option was a full return, which I accepted. After that, FixTman attempted to charge me extra for the additional handyman I never approved. I was initially promised a full refund, but later received a call offering only a 10% refund instead. This company does not stand by its word and does not take responsibility for poor workmanship. I am still trying to obtain the full refund that was promised, and they are unwilling to honor it. Avoid this vendor at all costs.
