Matthew was excellent and incredibly professional in his work. He was communicative every step of the way, operated with high integrity, and took on an owner's mindset in the work that he did (the quality of his work was as good as one would have expected him to exercise in his own home). We had a series of relatively straightforward tasks for him (mounting art, putting up a few shelves, mounting a TV, some minor outdoor work). He finished all of it efficiently and the price was fair. Will look to work with him again soon!

Kept saying I only inputted 3 items when I know I needed 6 furniture items put together. Also he kept stating his prices and hours which I didn’t know anything about I only am paying directly the site not a person because that’s not fair to the business I’ve had handymen try this before with me and I didn’t feel comfortable. Paying through the site insures a safe person is coming to home and the item being put together is insured. I don’t like that this worker kept telling me his hourly rates and his prices the site quoted me at $236 for 6 items but this guy kept saying $70 for a few hours and only for 3-4 items. Then he began harassing me telling me I needed to remove my 1 star review or he’ll call thumbtack and they will remove it for me, he said I was hurting his business by being petty all because he responded to me which is not true he was not paying attention to what actually was listed and for some reason kept snowballing me down items he would put together at the price thumbtack offered me for my 6 items. I don’t this person understands personal space very well people are allowed to disagree plus becoming disrespectful makes things all shows lake of accountability so while he chose not to take responsibility I don’t have to remove my review and I think it should be known respect will go a lot longer a way than attempting to arguing with a possible paying customer. Just my fyi.
Michael assembled three pieces of furniture that would have taken me days to complete. He got the job done!
Matthew was polite while communicating and asked questions about the tasks. I made him aware that the work was for a specific client project. We agreed on a time and rate. 2 minutes before his 10:00 a.m. arrival on 11/14, he texted to say he was in an accident. I called him and he said he can be at the site at 12:00 p.m. I again emphasized the timeline I was working on. He said he will be there before noon. At 12:00 p.m. = no show. So, I texted him to let him know I was canceling the task request and will not need his services. Poor experience, poor communication on the day of the project, and overall unreliable and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Matthew was very communicative and professional. His work was clean and concise. Very happy with the choice I made.
$250 trned into $650 I'm sure because it was a gated community. The job to hang 2 garage storage racks took 3 days and 3 times as much money. He needs to hire apartner if he can't do the job alone. The brackets don't look sturdy at all and ar not aligned correctly either. Bottom line hire a second person on these types of jobs or decline the job.

He was very professional and knows what he's doing. We had an overhead rack installed in the garage. The whole project took 3 hours but he was patient and finished the project.
