Desmond and his partner are reliable movers. They came on time. Wrapped furnitures for safe-keeping, and transported my son’s belongings with great care. We will contact them again for future plans.
Excellent work quality and value! The guys arrived early, worked diligently for 9 hours, and got the job done. They were patient and understanding. They handled my items with care and attention to detail. It was a big job and they got it done with excellent service quality. And, their pricing is very competitive. I will be using them again!
I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. First, i ordered two trucks and 4 movers. What i received was 3 movers. One mover arrived on time while the other two arrived 15 minutes late. I called the owner and he stated he would find another mover. He later called to inform me that he did not have another mover and that he would charge the rate of 3 movers. This already made the move less than desirable. One mover then proceeded to inform me that he could not lift anything heavy. So paying for two trucks was a waste. A move from a townhouse that should have taken 4 hours or less took 9. This was frustrating to say the least. To make matters worse, upon inspecting my furniture i have chipped pieces everywhere. Ultimately, I reached out to the owner to address these issues, they were completely unresponsive. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch, I received no acknowledgment or resolution. I expected much better service, especially considering the cost. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving service. Pay the extra money for real licensed movers and you will save yourself the frustration, broken furniture and extra cost from intentionally slow movers. These are just a few pictures.
Gilbert and his team were fantastic! They were on time, very responsive and took great care when moving my items (couch and a lamp). I’m recommending them to my friends and will definitely use them again for all my furniture moving needs!
I could not allow another day to go by, without taking the opportunity out of my busy schedule to thank Gilbert & Desmond of G & Co for the excellent moving serve they gave me on 8/2/22. They were punctual & very professional. They paid attention to detail as if the move was personal. They had all the equipment needed to disassemble my bunk bed & reassembled it at the new location. They covered @ wrapped every item that might get damaged. Don’t let their fee fool you. You get more than you pay for. They saved me more money, then if I used a well know service & did not charge extra for each little thing. They were in & out in record time including putting the Bunkbed together. Some companies charged more using more men for the same hours & taking down bed but not willing to put back together. Thumbtack thank you for introducing me to this great company. I will tell everyone I know looking for quality at an affordable price.
We had a very smooth and quick move. Gilbert was very communicative and kept us informed of his arrival time. He and his coworker were very careful with our boxes and loaded them in storage so they are easily accessible. We will be using his services again! Thank you!
