About Gabriel Weiner
*BASED IN NYC. Lessons in person or online* *NOT a classical singing teacher.* *Author of “How To Sing Without Thinking.”* I teach contemporary singing. I specialize in helping singers find and hone their unique voice. I am not about gimmicks, tricks, or false promises. I guide you into: - Singing with minimal strain - Developing vocal power - Expanding range - Improving your tone. - Honing your vocal and artistic identity. Like with the body; the more precisely you exercise (vocalize), the stronger (more powerful), more flexible (more range) and more fit (better tone) you get. Once vocally fit, you become confident and not self-conscious about your singing. As when physically fit, you feel better about how way you look. When vocally fit, you feel better about how you sound. I work with pop, rock, R&B, gospel, jazz, musical theater, country, metal, and all singing styles that use a microphone. I work best with adults and teenagers over 14 who are serious about singing.

Gabriel is a fantastic vocal coach. He offers a lot of great insights and has helped me expand my vocal range. He has given me the confidence to tackle challenging songs and I learn something new each time we have our lesson. I’ve noticed significant improvement in my singing and have received positive feedback from my friends on my voice. He’s very approachable and easy to work with.
Gabriel Weiner has a wonderful and non-judgmental approach to teaching that is rare to find among music teachers. He's patient, funny and helps you come out of your shell. I definitely sound better after working with him and for once I like my own voice. He made singing enjoyable!
He’s an amazing teacher, I already feel such a different in my tone and vocal confidence just with one session! Will definitely be coming back.
Mr. Weiner has been invaluable in helping me identify and work on the issues I have that are impeding my singing. After only 3 sessions, I feel much less anxious about singing in public.
I've had my first couple of lessons with Gabriel and already feel much more confident and free with my voice. I highly recommend him, especially if you want to find your voice and sound more like yourself.
Working with Gabriel is a very fun and comfortable experience. He makes learning to sing and feels like an enjoyable activity rather than a challenge that needs to be conquered. I always felt some kind of change after the end of a session, whether it be in my voice or in my perspective and understanding about singing.
Gabriel is an amazing teacher. He is patient always has a lesson planned. I have been working with him for a year now and highly recommend him for anyone at any level.
Gabriel is amazing and has the ability to both make me feel comfortable as well as challenge me to grow. I would highly recommend him.
You can’t ask for someone better!!! Words could not express how much this man has helped me! Now I’ve been singing all my life, and i never really knew I have been singing incorrectly this whole time, like I’ve been pushing too hard to reach certain notes and that put a lot of strain on my voice. Also I’ve discovered that I have a clarity issue. Apparently I am a very tense person, always stressing, always doing more than I can handle and I have not been taking care of myself or voice for that matter. I’ve learned that there are different ways, not styles, of singing. Like I have problems switching from higher notes to lower notes by not letting go. It’s hard to explain. But I feel it. Then I end up falling off key. But yea... now since I’ve been seeing him, listening to my recordings in the studio, I hear that you can hear me clearer. My tone is purer, as if I sing with ease. And you can hear everything I say... ooo progress!!! And like I’m trying to figure out how to breathe while I’m singing without making a sound. See me, i never had a lesson. I mean I’ve sang in a church choir and stuff but I think I learned how to sing by just mocking other singers. And I’ve never was able to find my own voice. Like when I sang people’s songs I would sing it like how they did. Until I started writing my own music, I started to find myself. But yea back to this guy... This guy knows what he’s doing. I trust him cuz he has shown me that with these vocal exercises, he has helped me find myself, find my voice, did I mention that it’s very therapeutic. Yea he be my therapist sometimes. Lol. But he is very warming. Very professional. Only you can change you but he can give you some tips and tricks on how to make you a master of your voice! I’m trying to be an artist. And when he asked me how I found him I gave him this bullsh*t that I saw his reviews. I lied. He just was the first to answer my call and when I met him the first day I knew he was it. So don’t waste another minute reading another review. Just book one session and see for yourself. Best of luck! Btw... u r on the right track cuz u hear reading this, looking for answers. You may be great already but why not find if there are any weaknesses, or u just curious to make you better or learn something new just to do it. Like how exercise makes your body better, vocal exercising makes your singing better. I’m still learning, but still after every session I learn something new, I am shocked by what I can do, I’m at ease, guyssss seriously it’s therapy. Gabriel, you got my vote!!! -Crystina Ventura
