GADI construction

While we did not end up going with GADI, the person who came out to give us a quote, Itai, was excellent. He thoughtfully evaluated the space, provided useful recommendations, and was responsive and engaging throughout all of our communication. We will happily consider GADI for future projects.

Well, they texted me to say, I needed to be sure the “decision maker” was going to be available for the on-site visit. As a female homeowner, that did not instill confidence that I would be heard or respected. I listen to my intuition and I canceled their bid. My project is a small one; but I am not dealing with overt sexism out of the gate.

I hired GADI to remodel my storage studio space, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Esther and her crew did an amazing job from start to finish. Communication was smooth, and the quality of work was perfect—from the rough construction all the way to the final details. They also stayed strictly on schedule and within budget. I hope to work again with them in the future. Highly recommended!

A big thank you to Ester at GADI Construction! She did an outstanding job managing our project, which involved replacing two side-yard windows with outswing French doors. From the very first meeting, Ester impressed us with her professionalism, knowledge, and insight. She clearly understood the scope, potential challenges, and structural considerations of the project—far better than other contractors we spoke with. She accurately assessed whether structural beams were already in place or if new ones would be needed, which gave us confidence in her recommendations. Ester was also incredibly helpful in guiding us through the door selection process, providing recommendations, taking accurate measurements, and verifying specs. Once the project began, she maintained excellent communication and oversight. Her team was just as impressive—every worker was detail-oriented and highly skilled. From door framing and alignment to tile cutting, caulking, and painting, the craftsmanship was meticulous. The project was completed on time, and her office efficiently coordinated with the city to schedule inspections. Thanks to Ester and her team’s expertise, we now have a beautiful, permitted entrance to our side yard that enhances both the functionality and aesthetic of our home. Highly recommend GADI Construction and Ester for any home renovation work!

A lot of quality issues, insufficient general contractor management of the project, follow-on quotes that were way above market, timeliness, and more

$35,000 for 1 bathroom remodel cost for less than 45 sq ft bathroom. That’s outrageous and expensive

I am pleased to recommend GADI Construction for any remodeling project you might be considering. I found them on Thumbtack and selected them to do a kitchen remodel in my small condo in Belmont. Their staff was friendly and served as expert consultants for all my answers. They were very helpful in choosing material. They were good communicators every step of the way. Their workers were friendly and punctual.

We did not get to work with Gadi Construction but found them to be very professional and responsive.

GADI was very communicative and willing to fix issues that arose.

GADI came by our house to review our project and promised a quote within a week. It's been over 3 weeks now and no estimate was provided.

work was great!

GADI responded to my thumbtack request for a simple construction job that should’ve cost between $1500 and $2000. When they sent their project manager to my house, I mentioned that I plan to remodel my kitchen, but I needed the smaller construction job done immediately. I never mentioned anything about a kitchen remodel when they responded to my Thumbtack listing. The project manager wasted at least an hour of my time exploring my house only to call me the next day to say they have a $5000 minimum and unless I agree to use them for the kitchen remodel, they won’t do the smaller $2000 job. He had no explanation for why he responded to the ad or didn’t tell me about a $5000 minimum. total waste of time and bad business practice

We hired GADI Construction to perform remodel of 2 bathrooms in our home. We had an excellent experience working with the GADI team. In selecting a contractor, we met with 5 companies before deciding to move forward with GADI. They were not our cheapest option, however were also not the most expensive. We selected GADI based on feeling they had right combination of quality and due diligence for the cost After we had signed contract, the team moved quickly in obtaining permits, design, and supporting material selection. The entire team was very responsive to any questions, ideas, or concerns that I had throughout the process. The Project Manager, Shani, kept me well informed. Communication was excellent and we texted or talked almost daily during construction. With any remodel there are going to be challenges that arise. Shani always gave me confidence that issue would be addressed, and always delivered resolution promptly. GADI was able to complete construction in a little over 2 weeks. This was faster than they had originally quoted, and despite me requesting some additional work along the way. Highly recommend Shani and the GADI team

I highly recommend working with Nadav and GADI construction on your next project. We worked with them on a big, complicated project, turning 1 bathroom surrounded by three little used closets into two bathrooms. In addition, they also altered the shape of a hallway and an additional closet to create a more practical primary bedroom suite. Getting the plans exactly right and working with the city to get them approved was critical, and GADI did a great job here. We went through multiple plans with their draftsman until finding the right solutions. Off to a great start, the actual construction process went well too. This was a big project, and it was no surprise to us that multiple months of work were needed. We thought that the folks at GADI were efficient and hardworking with a real eye for quality work. Nadav was always available and came over frequently to walk through plans and keep things on track. Any small issues that arose were responded to quickly and it was always no big deal. Loved their flexibility. In the end, construction in SF is very expensive, but at least with Nadav & GADI you are paying for quality work. Small things that I really appreciated were that they generated a quote on the spot instead of waiting weeks to send you one as many GCs do and that they had a cleanup crew come through when they were done. Ask Nadav for my materials list if it would be helpful to you.

I appreciated GADI’s communication throughout the course of the project.

We got a few different quotes for a laundry/ bathroom renovation and went with GADI. We wanted to combine our half bathroom and laundry room into one larger room which required removing a load bearing wall, moving plumbing/ electrical and closing existing doorway. The project manager made the project pretty seamless with great communication in person and via text. The construction crew that came to our home were very hard working and respectful of our space. The final product is better than we expected. We are so happy that we are planning on future projects with GADI.

What a great experience! Working with GADI Construction was a great experience. Millie and Guy were fantastic. There suggestions and guidance helped me to get the kitchen I wanted and love. From the counter installation to the plumber, they were professional, friendly, clean, and informative. They are competitively priced and the work is top notch. Thank you!

GADI Construction's crew was excellent from start to finish on our garage renovation. They were very helpful in helping us figure out what we wanted to do with this project. We interviewed several general contractors. But GADI Construction was the only one that provided documentation of insurance, contractor's license, and other projects recently completed. They were also the only GC that would have a project manager dedicated to overseeing our project throughout the engagement. Their quote was comparable to other GCs and included architectural plans and permits. We highly recommend GADI Construction for your next major home project.
