I was given a date and price. A few days before the appointed date, I got a text that the painter guy was not available (apparently there is more than one person under GAN). The person communicating did not offer an alternate date. I was then told that a different person was available (for the agreed date) but he would charge more than double. When I said the original price should be honored, there was no response. Nothing since then.

Gilberto replaced my 100 years old porch and did a great job. He made repairs to the porch structure in addition to replacing the floor and installing rails. I liked his job so much that asked him to repair my back porch too. I also plan to hire him again to work on my basement renovation. I really enjoyed working with Gilberto and his team. We hired Gilberto and his crew to refinish our deck. We bought our house about a year and a half ago and knew we would have to have some repairs done but had no idea how bad the water damage really was. They replaced 8 6x6 posts that had extensive water damage below the surface since the original build was not done correctly. We also had them replace several pieces of decking that were rotted, splintered, and just had extensive UV damage. They then applied a 10 year premium sealer to restore the finish. We added replacement of the stairs and railing once we saw what everything looked like (the areas that take the most weather pounding), and Gilberto was very accommodating and reasonable with the add-ons to the project. Gilberto and his crew are extremely hard workers, proud of what they do. They do top self work and are very reliable. We received 4 quotes for this same work and GAN was the only one of the companies to show up when they said they would. We are so glad we chose Gilberto and his company to complete the work, we are so satisfied we have asked him for quotes on another small project.

I went with GAN Construction after getting seven other bids for the work. The project involved replacing an asphalt driveway with concrete and replacing the walk with concrete and flagstones. Gilberto came out several times to review the work plan with me and to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. He delivered a great result with high quality materials in a timely manner. The work took five days to complete and his team was courteous, professional, and cleaned up the job site after each day of work. Gilberto's quote was competitively priced and the result was outstanding workmanship. I will definitely hire GAN Construction for my next project.

I have used roofing contractors, siding contractors, hvac contractors, gutter contractors, and patio Concrete contractors in the past. They all have similar traits. They are late, they pull workers off my job to work elsewhere, and they don’t finish on time! Not with GAN Construction, they showed up on time and the same crew worked on the project from beginning to end. I contracted GAN to do three concrete jobs, 1) pour a concrete slab for a 12’x12’ shed on a sloping rear yard, 2) pour a concrete walkway from the front of the house to the drive way, and 3) cut a hole in the garage floor and pour a recessed pit to accommodate my lift. Because the concrete slab for the shed is on a slope, they actually poured in a concrete footer and built a cinder block foundation wall to support the slab. The garage job was a bit more complicated. The pit had to meet code to support my lift which is capable of supporting 7000 lbs. Their engineers determined the concrete will need to sit on 5 pillars (3-4 deep below backfill) and the concrete pit itself was built with rebar every 12 inches and wire mesh. The concrete is 12 inches thick! It is not going anywhere! The walk was a piece of cake so I thought. Because the old walk way has settled more than 7 inches in different spots, GAN decided to tie the walk was into the concrete steps with rebar ever 2 feet. The earth was compacted to reduce possible setting in the near future. Over all I am very pleased with the work GAN did. The crew was very professional, kept the work area clean and when they left, it was as if they were never there. I would highly recommend using GAN for your concrete projects! Dr. Al Wong
