Jose and his assistant removed several invasive vines/plants that had damaged our fence, down to the root ball as well as a section of the old fence. They hauled away all of the yard waste and cleaned up thoroughly, all for a reasonable cost. Would definitely hire him again.

Great job for great price!
My experience with hiring has been mixed. Some are good and some are bad. I hired Jose of gardening services 4less to place sod in an area that never grows. He did such a great job that I asked him to double the area. The result is absolutely beautiful. I also asked him to change the sprinklers and we will complete the sod. Jose is reasonably priced, very professional, hard working and skilled. This is the best experience I have had with Thumbtack.
Jose was quick to respond. He was on time and did a fantastic job.
Bait and switch scam, these people changed their price three time during the installation process and they were still didn’t finish the job, they were constantly asking for more money, no work ethics, they showed up once, then came back one week later, then not answering my calls and then they appeared again ten days later. They left the job leaving my project in these conditions. Disappointed, and unprofessional.
José and his team were greatly priced hard-working, very confident and knew exactly what they were doing. I am definitely gonna keep working with them and referring them.
Jose was very responsive and started the job immediately. Upon replacing my sod he noticed the sprinklers were the main problem and he made corrections on the fly. He really went above and beyond and also fixed another sprinkler in my front yard that was leaking too. 5 STAR SERVICE!!!
Jose has been great right from day one.. he is nice to work with and does the job neatly.
Ramon is the best worker , always does great work , amazing at what he does , best value , other companies wanted 2 time more
Jose and his team were quick to respond to my inquiry regarding an estimate and started work the very next day. He was nice, professional, neat, and worked quickly. We are keeping his phone number handy and will utilize his team in the near future. We are very very satisfied. Very knowledgeable. We are very satisfied. Excellent service!!
Needs to work on communication and meeting client expectations. We agreed on a specific price for sod removal, dirt hauling and gravel installation on the front, side and back yard, plus one of his helpers to do the job. The job started on 03/23/23, he arrived 2 hours later than he said he would arrive. Later that day he said it would actually be more money to complete the job. We negotiated a lower price and he said he would finish the job the next day. Next day he arrives late again, asks for more money and then at the end of the day doesn't finish the job and says he's coming 03/25 (Saturday) to finish. Trusting he'd finish the job I paid the full amount. Saturday comes, he doesn't show up. He calls later that day and says he's coming on Monday as he doesn't work Sundays. Monday comes and again he doesn't show up. On 03/28 says he's coming 03/29 to finish, however doesn't answer texts, calls or show up, leaving a pile of dirt and trash on my driveway and me not being able to move my car. After multiple back and forth calls and texts, he finally came on 04/04 and removed the dirt from my driveway.
Worst hire ever. I'm leaving this review as a warning to anyone considering hiring this person. He is unprofessional and does poor quality work at a very slow pace. I hired him to take out concrete, level my yard and put up a small retaining wall. He started in July and has yet to complete the job... it's January now. At this point I've stopped contacting him and will finish the job myself. Beware as he constantly asks for money even although he has not done any work. Also, be prepared for the mess he leaves. My driveway was covered with dirt piles and concrete for months! He parked his trailer in front of my house for 4 months! He didn't finish putting up the retaining wall blocks and did not respond to my texts asking for the item number so I can purchase the blocks myself. Just stay away. This person's quality of work and accountability is a joke.
Jose was wonderful to work with and took pride in his work. The project was a 10x10 dog run with artificial turf. He worked hard putting in extra drainage and fixed the irrigation for me to without an extra charge. I would recommend his work.
Easy to talk, straight up guy. Jose and his guys were fast and fantastic. Price is very reasonable. Will definitely hire Jose for our next project.
Jose built me a beautiful wooden gate! Very responsive and quick turn around. Highly recommend!
Jose did an amazing job and transformed my backyard into an oasis in 3 days. I love my new yard! Thank you!
This review is just for the estimate process. We had a pleasant experience of meeting with Jose to get an estimate for our landscaping project. Jose was responsive and understanding of our priorities. They offer a variety of landscaping and hardscaping services, and provided a competitive estimate. Had it not been for a change of plans on our end, we would have used Jose's company for our project.
Love the work that they did. Wonderful team. Worked within my budget.
All work was done in 3 days, including old soil and dead grass removal, capping of old sprinkler system, repair of existing sprinklers, prepping the area with under layer material, packing in sand as well as adding rocks and putting down the turf. The budget was negotiated upfront and the job was done within the agreed on price without any additional cost or surprises.
He knows well why am giving this rating. He said something about artificial grass, concrete base, and other materials and talked about deal but when comes to work he tried to do completely cheap things. He didn’t put concrete base but instead he put glue sand and argued that will become concrete. no tape and glue for turf. Asked for green sand but he put silver sand. After asking for weed protector, then he bought. Initially he said grass is $3 per square foot and after he was trying to buy $2.25 one. After arguing, he bought $2.57 + tax. His mindset to put cheap things and save money for him. No perfection and quality. I am not happy at all. I don’t prefer this guy.
