Show up. I got a call 5 minutes before arrival time stating the service was canceled. Completely inappropriate and I'll never use Thumbtack again, because this also happened the same week with house cleaning.

I called in to Thumbtack to have a tech come out because non of my 3 HP printers were feeding from the top tray. I was sold on 1.5 hour of time. They came out and nothing was repaired. Only a hand writtten note was left, no name, no co name, no tech name, no price and nothing fixed. I am back at square one now with 3 HP printers that do not feed. I am not happy. I put in a request and made an appointment one week ago. FYI - they charge $300 immediately when you book the appointment. As of today I’ve had 5 cancellations on their part. FYI - you’re charged if you don’t answer the door to the appointment but if they cancel multiple times there’s no compensation. The services could be ok, I have no idea as I’m still waiting. Book with caution.
They required me to pay in advance. The technician was not able to the do the job so he left with no work being done. It has been a month and still do not have refund. I am furious!!!!!!!
If I could leave zero stars, I would they had me waiting and had to cancel twice. they didn’t call me, I had to call and find out what the ETA was only for them to tell me they can’t get in touch with the technician so they need to reschedule. I’ve wasted time and lost money.
$149 to tell me they didn’t know how to fix it. I asked them to send me some that knew about Homebridge or HOOBS. They did not.
The tech arrived on time, he was very honesty and forthcoming. He was also very professional and knowledgeable.
The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to resolve the issue promptly and helped explain how to prevent the issue in the future
Good job.
The problem was fixed promptly, accurately, and professionally. The pro also made helpful explanations and suggestions before he left. Thanks, Gabriel!
The IT was very efficient, knowledgeable, and precise in explaining what was done to the computer.
I chose Neil Chopra, he did an excellent job on resolving all of my concerns with my computer.
They were supposed to come twice today after rescheduling without notice. The technician said he couldn’t make it, even though I really needed this done tonight. Now they’re saying they’ll try to schedule me for tomorrow, but no one has called me back. I’m really disappointed, so I have to leave a one-star review — this experience has been completely frustrating.
Very knowledgeable. Tech wasn’t able to fix it & recommended to go to Apple store.
They got the job done, but I was constantly reminded that they charge $99 an hour. The technician showed up with no equipment and then went into a long explanation about the $200 item I needed and where to get it. He eventually went to get the item and charged me for the hour it took him because he was stuck in traffic. After acting as his assistant during the installation he then charged me for three hours plus the cost of the equipment. You do the math.
paid $150 for nothing. I'd give you one star because the tech was really nice. But to start, I had a 1 o'clock appointment that you changed to 2, then he didn't come until 3 when I needed to leave by 4. No you didn't say he'd come between a window of 2 to 4. Then I explained in detail on my message to hire what my exact issue was and what I had done to try to solve it. It involves the battery. The tech didn't seem to be familiar with my computer. Then he redid everything I had already done, including updating windows, which had happened the night before. When the customer has to pull up YouTube videos and Microsoft tutorials to help the tech and still get no better results than when I started, you should pay me. But this is your fault, not his. You should have sent someone who is familiar with my issue since your site says you have 120 people employed and I think I'm due at least a partial refund.
technician was very efficient, thorough and personable. my experience was excellent and i recommend them highly.
Printer is running smoother than silk Thanks to Geeks on Site.
Technician failed to show up as scheduled. I was not notified. When rescheduled for the following day, he stayed just less than one hour, couldn't fix the problem, and then, without notification again, I was billed for an additional half-hour. I had to really fight to get the additional charge reversed. I would not use them again.
