Hector came out to my property for drywall work and was extremely responsive, arriving right on time. He was transparent about the estimated cost, timeline, and bill of materials, and he clearly explained his approach to the job. His experience and knowledge came through in a way that was easy to understand, and I felt confident in the information he shared. I would definitely work with him again.

Not the best attitude. Told us he would send a quote but the quote never came. He was saying how he is no longer interested in certain types of jobs given that he is making enough money. I figured the job we had was too small for him. I wish he had told me that instead of making making me wait for more than a week for a quote. Am sure he does a good job but we never got to see that side. Overall, unless your job is reasonably big, don’t expect him to get back to you. Update- I normally don’t leave reviews or update them. This one escalated fast. He got aggressive on thumbtack messaging saying that defamation is illegal in wa. 😂 Posting screen shots of our interactions

We were very pleased with the craftsmanship of Hectors workers, however, the lack of being able to communicate with the workers is very exasperating. The finish work had to be finished by myself, which is not what we expected. Poor clean up, we believe that when the job is all done that the tile should sparkle like brand new, it did not. We had to rewash the tiles and the floors. We would like to use Hector again, and we may, but with a little more more communication about the expectations of the job.

Contractor realized 6 minutes before an appointment he didn't have my address. When I gave it to him 4 minutes after he asked (9:27am, 3 min before our scheduled 9:30apt) , he said he can't be "waiting all day for an address" and wanted to reschedule, and then when I pointed out that he should have asked for my address earlier, he decided my money and time was not good enough for him and no longer wanted to work with me. Every other person I spoke to on here sent me an email confirmation of their appointment time, and this guy never even asked for my address. I would be wary working with someone who is so unreliable, lacks forethought, and who doesn't care about earning someones business.

Very impressive work. Not only are Hector and Jose fast and efficient, their end product looks phenomenal. Craftsmen style trim for 6 windows in a few short hours, and a cleanup job that looks better than when they arrived. Highly recommended, Hector is the best general contractor I've worked with on Thumbtak.

I’ve had a great experience with Hector and his team. They came out a few months ago to install a light fixture over my kitchen table, and again recently with new light fixtures in our 14 ft entryway and our dining room. They were always quick to respond and quick to get out to our house! Very pleased with their work!

Hector responded to initial request promptly then showed up next day to give an in-person quote. He was able to bid other quotes with very reasonable and affordable pricing. On top of that, he was able to do the job in same day as we kinda needed it. He helped to hang 2 chandeliers to the existing fixtures, while one of them was big and to be hung from 18 ft ceiling. Excellent result and we will definitely reach out to him on future project.
