This is the second time we have used Genius Moving because my husband and I like their service. Taras and Chris are awesome. They are good at communicating when they were on their way. They are friendly and courteous, careful with our furniture, they wrapped it if it needed wrapping and they always asked where things go. Very hardworking. I highly recommend them and will gladly use them again!

I recently moved Into My New Home beginning of October and could of not been any happier the way things went. For the past few years we have been moving in n out and always move ourself finally this time we said we where gonna hire movers ! That was probably the best thing we could have done we called genius moving they gave us an amazing quote and booked that same day for move . The day of moving came 3 men arrived promptly on time and started getting to it they wrapped everything professionally and handled everything with care I was amazed how they got everything to fit in the truck . At delivery they handled everything with care and assembled everything back and organized everything to our like. Over all we had a great experience with genius moving and would recommend them to all my friends and anybody interested in not dealing with a hassle call these guys they will get the job done thank you guys hope to see you guys again in the near future!!

Watch out for the hidden fees and poor customer service! I moved from a single bedroom in a house to small house 5 minutes away. Before the move, I let them know what large items and furniture I had, including an elliptical. I was reassured that there was no extra charge for the elliptical as it did not fall under one of their bulky items list. The confirmation email specifically said “EXTRA HEAVY/BULKY ITEMS(300 LBS OR MORE). MOVERS HAVE A RIGHT TO MAKE AN EXTRA CHARGE BASED ON: (1)A WEIGHT OF AN OBJECT(IF ITS MORE THAN 300 LBS.MADE FROM GRANITE/MARBLE/GLASS)”. Based on the specs, my elliptical weighs 214lbs and it has wheels to roll it. It was not transported up or down any stairs. When I asked about the weight cut off, I was told it was an “equipment fee” even though no such thing was ever mentioned before, even after I said I had an elliptical. They charged me an extra $80 that was in no way discussed prior to the move. In the process of moving, they also cracked my landlord’s wall and now I have to cover the expenses of that as well. When I asked about the supposed insurance that the company had, I was told they only cover damage to the things they move and not to the home itself! They said it wasn’t their fault that the wall cracked even though there was NO crack there prior to the move. They also say I should have reported it earlier. However I was trying to reach them for over a week without success despite multiple calls. I do have to say my movers were very friendly but it does not make up for the disappointment and extra money this move has cost me. Definitely will go with someone else next time.
I really appreciate genius moving for a quick response and amazing help from their hardworking team. I will definitely call them if I have any other move to do. Responsible and stress free! ps Also thanks for bringing a bigger truck!
