Gillian was great to have at our son’s second birthday party. She was able to get plenty of family group shots as well as great candid photos of all of the kids playing. Wonderful experience! I was nervous about getting some portraits done but I found it to be easy and fun! The time flew by. Loved the pictures I got. We hired Gillian for our daughter’s first birthday party, and she was awesome to work with! She showed up right on time, got all of the posed and candid shots we asked for, and she did an awesome job of blending in with the party and snapping tons of pictures. We loved all the pictures she sent over, and we’re so glad we hired her for the event! Gillian was the first pro I hired on Thumbtack. Never even heard of this app before until I had to put together a friendsgiving event! Gillian went over and beyond my expectations! She had the artist’s vision to see and execute my vision, which is very rare and hard to find especially since we never met in person prior to the event. We only communicated through chat which is what I prefer. She was on time and made sure to survey the area for possible good spots and angles. She was quick and had that point-shoot kinda feel. She made us feel comfortable and be ourselves while she was on the background. All of her shots were amazing and never once did she miss a good shot or have us repeat poses. And omg her editing skills!!! I wanted to have that little women vibe and she did just that! 😍 whenever i look at the pictures, i feel like the event was a whole movie. I enjoyed the whole event even more knowing that I will have these beautiful pictures to look at to later on. If you’re thinking twice about hiring a pro (her), just stop!
