Asked for snow removal night before he didn’t show and at 12 noon I ended up just doing my self

I hired this business to plow for me. While they were good last year, this year they didn’t respond to most texts and did not show up, leaving me high and dry and forcing me to scramble to hire someone else. There is nothing worse than an unreliable workman. Do not hire them.

I was ready to build my Gazebo myself when I decide it was too much for me. So I reached out to Goncalves Contracting and was very very happy that I did. Jake and his team did a fantastic job! They were the on time and were true professionals in the trade. Before I knew the frame was up and they continued to work and it was finished within 3 hours. This saved me a lot of headaches as there was no way I could have done what Jake and his team did. So if you need a Gazebo or a kids swing set built Jake and his team are the ones to call! Great Job Jake!!!

These boys came in and put up the gazebo quickly. They even agreed to come back and anchor the gazebo at a later date. Thank you fellas. Definitely hire these guys from Goncalves contracting. They are dependable and will be there on time.

Jake is a SCAMMER & a THIEF! Do NOT HIRE HIM! He probably made the good reviews of him his self! I hired Jake to assemble a GAZEBO for me ,he came out he’s a young white male who looks as if he is about 20/21 and his helper/partner is an older Mexican male who looks as if he is about 60 maybe. So he came out and after about 10 minutes of him working on the Gazebo he informed me that my Gazebo had came with Defective parts and that I would need to speak to the manufacturer to order new parts and that once I get them that he would come back out. So I said okay , he told me how he had traveled really far (2hrs) from New Jersey to come out to do the job, so I paid him $100 and said I would call him immediately once I received the parts! So I finally received the parts and contacted Jake and he assured me he would call me back after he looked in his schedule to see what day he could come out. He neve

Showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Some sloppy, rushed areas where screws were not tightened well, or just completely missed, which compromised the safety of the playground. Some screws placed poorly which cracked the wood. I’m now in the process of tightening areas, locating missed areas, and attempting to repair wood split by poorly placed screws. I gave 3 stars for the price and timeliness but the significant sloppiness could’ve actually warranted a 2 star review.

Jake did an amazing job putting our playset together. He was quick to respond and exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much, we are already recommending you to neighbors.

Jake was great. Communicated every step of the process. Sent me updates throughout the day. Was able to get material for me and provided receipts. He showed up in time, worked hard, price was fair and we are beyond pleased with the final product!
