Needed my lawn taken care of pretty urgently. Contacted Hector for a quote and he responded immediately with a reasonable price, and set an appointment for the next day. Hector's guys came out in the morning and did a fantastic job! Hector was very communicative from the beginning, I would recommend using his business if you need any lawn services! Wow ! Hector and his team at Gonzalez Landscaping were incredible. From the first moment we met I knew he was incredibly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and would be a project partner. He gave a very fair estimate, was easy to communicate with, and has the best team. My yard was transformed in 1 day. They also helped with picking up materials from will call from local nurseries and supply stores.
These guys got my overgrown yard cleaned up in no time! This is a before and after of just the corner of the yard. Will use them again!
We were able to get his team on the job (remove ground cover/weeds and a small tree, put in weed barrier) within a couple of days. He also texted me proof of liability for the work. They were very nice guys who did a thorough job, now I can install my ground cover later.
Great project completed on time and with attention. Not all small details have been observed, but overall is a very satisfactory experience. Good value and very pleasant people.
Hector, the main point of contact, was punctual and communicative - he seems good. Unfortunately his team is not. He sent a team member who - text that they had arrived (scheduled for 8-9), at 9 - they are not outside - hector calls and says he is outside - they are not outside - after I go looking for them up and down the street and text, they gaslight me texting that they were outside for an hour. - two people left the apartment during this hours without seeing them, they never rang the doorbell, and we our doorbell camera shows they were never near. Wouldn’t let people who straight lie like this into your home regularly :)
Gonzalez came by to offer a quote to my realtor and scheduled a date. Crew did not show up and even left my messages on read. It’s one thing to ignore my messages, it’s another to completely ghost a job commitment. I was left scrambling to find another crew. Do not rely on this company for your landscaping needs. They can and will easily ghost you, even after offering a quote and scheduling an appointment with you.

Hector and his team were SUPER quick and very hard working. He was very responsive, and really appreciated the communication. I 100% would recommend him and his team. They cleaned up the yard big time. I’ve added before and after of photos.
Updated review! Must read before hiring vn I am annoyed that I have to write this but I had to. Hector and his team did indeed replace the fabric filter for my front yard but 1 month and 15 days later weeds and grass stared growing out of it and broke the filter already. Something is clearly wrong with this filter or how his team layer it since it’s not even a year and it’s like this. We paid $1110 for this work to be done with good material so that we would have to worry about it for years (like the old filter we had. It was good for 8 plus years). I reached out Hector through text and phone many’s time and he just ignored me. The text shows “read.” But he said he never got any of them but yet he reply to be on that same text when we first hired him. He also promise to come by and check on the promise to find solutions but didn’t show up and ignored me once again when I asked why he didn’t come and when he is coming. I haven’t given up and out in a dispute at this point to get some money back so I can hire someone else to fix this problem that Hector made and won’t fix. On another note, my front house window was cracked by a rock that hit it while Hector trimmed the grass. I was being nice and didn’t charge him to fix it because he is a small business. Now I’m putting it all here so others read this before hiring him. I just saw others updated their reviews where they had same issues where he ignored them after something is wrong. Don’t waste your money and time. Hire someone else. I gave Hector many chances to fix this problem and have now given up. Old review: Hector and his team of three did an amazing job with our front and back yard. Due to the heavy rain this year, our yard had overgrown weed above the fabric filter we placed over dirt and under rocks in our yard (for 9 yards). Hector was so quick to response and provided expert advice on how to handle this. His team came the next day and completed the job within 9 hours. My parents are so happy that they keep saying how amazing the crew it. I world highly recommend Hector and his team! We are actually asking him to treat our grass now.
First time hiring Hector's team and they did an amazing job cleaning our front and back yard. They were very fast and thorough and was able to schedule a slot for the next day. Would recommend to others!
He was prompt with returning my call and coming to give me an estimate. He also made sure to communicate when he couldn’t make it. Unfortunately, after a few times, the service started to go down hill. I made him aware of the weeds that were coming in and that one of the sprinkler heads was broken. I asked him if he could spray the weeds and fix the sprinkler head but I never heard back from him. I sent him a message asking if he had received my message and he said yes but he never showed up after that.
☹️ We were hoping to have a good experience with this company because of a recommendation from a friend and the reviews on Thumbtack. Unfortunately they (1) Did half of our front yard wrong (we asked for weed whacking, but they stripped it down completely to the soil): - After the manager stopped by to see the team’s progress. they stopped stripping it and starting weed whacking. - This is a big problem, because we now have to spend money on natural ground cover AND extra water, which is need to make sure the soil and our various plants, bushes, trees, flowers, etc. don’t dry out from the exposure. (2) Didn’t finish the job - they forgot to weed the front sidewalk, directly in front of our house. When we followed up, they said they would come by and finish. Never did. We followed up one more time, asked them to finish the job and explain why they stripped half of the yard down the soil, when we didn’t ask for it. No response, which is a bummer. We were hoping to use them as a regular gardening service. :(
He did amazing job on front yard landscaping and backyard fencing. I would highly recommend Francisco and his team. They’re quite faster and timely. Many people did ask about the front yard leveling and the color of stone.
Wow. Amazing job by Hector and his team. Responsive, prompt, easy to schedule with, and the work quality was superb. The cost was slightly higher than the competition, but it was definitely worth paying for the high quality service.
