Got Rot, LLC does excellent work and has terrific communication skills. They took care of some structural frame rot in my 100-year-old plus Queen Anne home. I was kept informed at every step of the process, and the crew was thoroughly responsive to any questions that arose. I had full confidence in their overall workmanship, and they were super-professional in all of their dealings with me. They had to move many containers plants from my patio and then replace them, and ALL of the plants survived and look terrific against the newly shingled wall. Highly recommended.

I hired this company for my deck construction project and initially found them to be very professional in their approach, which gave me the confidence to move forward with them. The project was completed today, but unfortunately, my experience at the end of the project was disappointing. I was charged an additional amount on top of the contracted price under the name of sales tax. However, I was never informed about sales tax by the sales representative, nor was it mentioned by the project manager at any point during the project. To make matters worse, I was not provided with an actual invoice showing the breakdown of the charges. Unexpected charges at the end of a project, without prior disclosure or proper documentation, has broken my trust. I believe all costs, including applicable taxes, should be clearly communicated upfront. The only real silver lining in this experience was Danial.He did an excellent job and was hardworking, professional, and dedicated throughout the project. He completed almost 80% of the work himself, and I truly appreciate his effort and workmanship. Overall, while I am happy with the work Daniel did, I am disappointed with the way the project was handled from a business and transparency standpoint. Customer trust is important in any business transaction.
Update: I had previously given a 3 star review but am lowering it to one. Since Got Rot's service three months ago, I've had warping that's resulted in a huge lip in the flooring panels they installed. Further, I discovered that the GFI outlet outside stopped working during their deconstruction, and I'm still trying to figure out how to get it working again. Previous review: An important note is that they do not do finishing work. If the quote says "install drywall" that's literally what they mean. I chose to go with Got Rot over another company that was comparable in price, assuming finishing work was included. My mistake - this could have been called out more explicitly, as I would have gone with RestorationPros instead, knowing the prices were comparable and they offered finishing work.
Working with Got Rot was an absolute pleasure! They are punctual, highly organized and their attention to detail is unmatched. They are the absolute definition of consumate professionals. They made us feel completely taken care of by going out of their way to accommodate and consistently adjust their process to meet our needs. We are extremely happy with the end result. If you want a team is both incredibly skilled and genuinely attentive, look no further . Thank you to Vlad, Nazar, Artem and Darik. ( Deck surface, Lattice with door, replaced some cedar siding , installed mesh over roof vents to prevent messy bird perching problem, helped to drill and treat hidden tree stump decomposing under deck , replaced Rain Gutters with the perfect color to match our home. They look like a costly custom addition.
Highly recommend Got Rot LLC! I talked to four deck companies, and Got Rot was the best. The other three companies said some parts of my design were too difficult and couldn't be done. But Got Rot promised to solve all the technical problems, and they did a perfect job. When they took down my old deck, they found and fixed a lot of hidden rot on my exterior walls. They wanted to make sure there would be no problems in the future. Their work is high quality, and they always asked for my opinion on the details before building. The whole process was great. In the beginning, the manager, Daniel, was very patient and helped me with the design and drawings. During construction, the project manager, Artem, and his team worked very hard. They never rushed to save time or money. They also used an app called Buildertrend. It was very clear and transparent. They updated the daily log every day, so I always knew what they were doing. Even when some unexpected problems came up, they fixed them perfectly. I am very happy with my new deck. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors!
I do not recommend this company. From the very beginning, there were communication issues: they were unable to provide me with a price online despite my repeated requests. I clearly explained that I was on a business trip and would not be available that week, but they kept insisting on scheduling an estimate, ignoring what I had already told them. This kind of behavior feels unprofessional and frustrating. In the end, I had to go with another company that actually understands and respects its customers. I would not recommend wasting your time with this one.
I don’t think I can say enough good things about this company! I wanted my porch and deck completely redone, and I got estimates from seven companies and contractors. These guys gave me a good estimate and I could also tell they were the most professional. I am glad I hired them. I am very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic. They literally went above and beyond and fixed a couple of things around the exterior of the house: they replaced a fence post and also the trim on one corner of my shed—both for free! They also took apart a big, old, ugly lean-to I had at the back of the house and took it to the dump, also for free! And there are a few other examples of just how decent and helpful they are. But perhaps most of all, they clearly love what they do and take pride in the quality of their work. I would absolutely hire them again.
We had water damage that caused the siding to fall off near my fireplace vent, so I reached out to a few contractors. Most of them either did not respond promptly or just quickly gave me a quote based on the photos I sent. Got Rot was the only company that sent someone to do an inspection, explained everything thoroughly, and then gave me the quote. It turned out that water intrusion caused the sheathing behind it to rot, and they also helped me identify some other small water damage risks around the house that could be easily fixed when they were onsite. On the day of the job, they sent the team as well as a project manager to give me a quick overview of what would be done. A day after it was done, they also came to do a final walkthrough in case I had any questions. Everything was done professionally and efficiently, and they explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and not intimidating for a new homeowner. Cost was also very reasonable. There were other contractors that offered me a slightly lower quote, but I chose to go with Got Rot after talking to them since they explained the cost breakdown clearly and were way easier to work with. I've been through a few projects after moving in and I knew that I didn't want to deal with all the problems working with a bad contractor just for a slightly lower price. There were also contractors that wanted me to replace the entire chimney siding for triple the price, but Got Rot gave me a reasonable recommendation about what really needed to be replaced. I highly recommend working with Vlad and the Got Rot team. I would consider hiring them again if they can help me with other projects too.
I had the fascia and railings replaced on my deck with PVC material so I wouldn't have to ever paint it again. The deck floor was already built with composite material. They also framed in and installed new lattice on the edges. It looks so much nicer now. The guys worked very hard and we're super nice. My project was completed very quickly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Mark and Artem did a fantastic job replacing the rotten boards on our porches. Their pricing was very reasonable, they did the job quickly, and the quality of the work was 10/10. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were completely satisfied. Would definitely hire them again.
