Massive waste of time, picked a time to arrive, texted me at the end of the window to push it back, and quoted me $2000 for a 40 x 80 lot. Like bro, I know half of it’s overgrown, but I could do it myself in a weekend, I just don’t want to, and apparently either do you. Clown ahh nonsense

Lawn service done efficiently!
Got a project booked with them. Texted me and said they weren’t going to make it. Never showed the next day. Heard nothing back. Reached back out after the weekend. Again said they would come. Didn’t show or respond.
***Zero stars…WOULD NOT RECOMMEND*** Hired to cut my grass while my home was on the market. Did decent job in the beginning but I would expect better for $60 a cut. Edging was never done well. Texted me to let me know that both of their mowers were broke down. They came back one more time and of course billed me for the month. I paid the invoice and then they gave me a bunch of excuses and never came back. Their name says it all.
Prompt on a quote but then rescheduled twice and never showed. Did not communicate on service times, I had to reach out every time to confirm if they were coming until they ultimately stopped replying to any calls or texts and just never showed. Not reliable for work. Do not recommend hiring.

Thought I'd take a chance booking through thumbtack for yard work, despite my reservations. Unfortunately no one from Good Riddance Landscaping showed up for my appointment. Don't think I'll be using Thumbtack again.

I've hired 4 people or companies on thumbtack based on reviews and have had three great experiences. This fourth hire was really bad! No-show for the first appointment. Finally heard from Aziz hours later asking to reschedule. I can't stress this enough: the communication was bad! Finally did show up to the second appt after I texted "are you coming?" They show up at noon. I hired Good Riddance for a clean up job. I had written the details of the job on thumbtack. They pull up with a truck full of tree branches from another landscape job, so immediate red flag as my job was a lot of clearing and hauling of dead vegetation and leaves. I had only met and talked to Aziz before this day and he was respectful and seemingly a nice person. The guy that showed up with him, I can't remember his name, was disrespectful & rude. They worked for 90 minutes, then rang the doorbell and told me they forgot their rakes and would have to come back in the morning to pick up all the leaves. Don't ask me why, but I agreed! Then I walked around with them and was speechless - It was such unbelievably lazy and poor work. This had nothing to do with the lack of a rake! I've posted a few photos - these are indeed "after" photos, not "before" photos. NONE of the dead vegetation had been pulled out of the trees or trimmed away. Some of the leaves had been blown into piles but they didn't even attempt to put those into bags and haul them away. Large tree branches that they cut were left behind. They left my street a mess and I had to go pick up tree branches so cars weren't having to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid tire damage. When I called and left a message that I changed my mind and I do not want them to come back, I got a call back right away from the rude one, and he proceeded to be even ruder and argue with me!" He kept repeating that they did almost everything I asked for and that I needed to tell them if I wanted attention to detail, and on and on. I payed them $437 which was half their quote of $875. It was a HUGE waste of money and time. I'm literally at square one with the clean-up. Good riddance is right! I was stupid to not insist on a contract. Live and learn. I do not recommend this company. "After" photos attached.
