Grain With Envy

Chris was great. Excellent communication throughout. I used him to customize a kitchen island I bought online. He removed an overhanging barstool ledge on one side so it was a better fit for my kitchen. He also customized the wheels to be hidden underneath the island as I didn't want them to show or raise the height of the island. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

I hired Chris to make a custom tabletop case for a tv to use for D&D maps and it came out great! I had wanted one of these for years and now I finally have one. He was more than happy to take on a novel project and he totally nailed it. He even accommodated a tight turnaround time I needed for an event. I only wish I could post videos to thumbtack to give the full effect. If you’re looking for someone to do custom work, I would highly recommend grain with envy!

No contact about my project other than to send me to their facebook page. If I wanted to hire through FB, I would have started there. No need for Thumbtack.

Chris did exactly what we requested. He harvested the hardware from our original front door and hung a brand new door after fitting it with the hinges & hardware. He completed the job in a timely manner and we are 100% satisfied!

Chris did an AMAZING job! After my husband started working mainly from home, we realized we needed a permanent work space for him away from our four young children. We decided to convert one of our bedroom closets into a "Cloffice." We told Chris our idea and gave a couple of pictures of what we were thinking, and he came up with the design, did an amazing job creating it, and we couldn't be happier. It looks even cooler in person! We will definitely be hiring Chris again in the future! Thank you!!!

Chris was very responsive, saw what we needed and was able to deliver the product in less than a week. He was very professional and the price was very fair. I would highly recommend him for any carpentry job.

Grain With Envy built a dog house for my pup and it turned out awesome! Pup loves it so much that it has been hard to get him to come into the house now.

Had a cabinet resized to accommodate a new microwave. Chris did a beautiful job and was very conscientious when he came back to install after the resize. You could tell he wanted it perfect. Already have him coming to fix a pocket door that is off the track. Highly recommend.

I loved working with Chris of Grain with Envy. He was able to create what I wanted from a photo and sent me pictures of what he was doing as he was progressing through the project. He is totally professional, reliable and his charges are very reasonable. I will definitely contact him again in the future.
