About GRID ART / DESIGN
RESPECTFULLY I ONLY HANG / INSTALL ART I AM NOT A HANDYMAN. MINIMUM CHARGE FOR A PROJECT IS $300 FOR THE FIRST 2 HOURS Hi, I'm an art installer, curator and collector with over 20 years of experience. I've designed presentations and installed art in homes, institutions and businesses with precision and a keen eye for the viewer's connection to the work. I have a BA in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and have worked with interior design firms, artists, home stagers and private clients. I've consulted for designers, collectors and businesses and specialize in creating a balanced composition that is thoughtful in bringing the environment's intention to life. I'm passionate about elevating spaces through precise art hanging and the intentional placement of art. I love what I do and am happy to help with your project, LARGE or small. Warmly, Mathew

We recently purchased our house, and one of our final projects was hanging up our artwork. I reached out to Matt, who was incredibly responsive, and we booked an appointment right away. The entire experience was wonderful he worked quickly, and we really enjoyed bouncing ideas off each other. The art adds so much life to our space, and our house finally feels like a home. Matt’s professionalism and expertise were outstanding, and I would gladly hire him again and again. You won't be disappointed!
Mathew's review Mathews work on arranging and hanging about 25 pieces of art was fantastic! The collection included everything from wood pieces to etchings to paintings to photo displays. He applied creative instinct and skill in arranging that was much better than our original ideas. He was also efficient with regards to time spent. If I ever have any more hanging to do, I know who to call! At least 5 stars!
On time, on budget, quality work. What else could you want?! Thanks, Matthew! The art looks great.
Matthew was so great to work with. I had a few different types of wall decor that needed to be hung and I wasn't sure where things should go. Matt was responsive, punctual and professional. He had great insight on what would look best and gave me lots of recommendations to help maximize the spaces. Would definitely recommend!
I had a great experience working with Matthew. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and easy to coordinate a time with. I had several pieces of artwork, a clock, travel trinkets, and a large mirror that I wanted to hang throughout my apartment, but I wasn’t sure about the best placement. His expertise in design was incredibly helpful. He offered thoughtful suggestions on positioning and layout, then made sure I was happy with each placement before installing everything. He worked efficiently with great attention to detail, and everything turned out beautifully. I’m so happy with the results. Thanks so much, Matthew!
Matthew did an outstanding job installing 18 large framed black-and-white photographs of early San Francisco throughout my office. His eye for layout and balance was exceptional—he thoughtfully arranged each piece to create a display that is both visually striking and cohesive. What impressed me most was that he didn’t simply hang the artwork. He carefully incorporated crystal pieces and a sculpture into the overall design of my main office, creating a sophisticated and inviting space. His attention to detail, professionalism, and artistic vision transformed the office into a gallery-quality environment. If you’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with an outstanding design sense, I highly recommend Matthew. His work exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the final result.
Great job! Worked well with me. And… was as picky as I was!
Great person to do your design and project! He was very nice as well. My husband and I are thrilled. We could not be happier!
Over the years, I have gathered a small collection of special-to-me art, but I had no idea how to display it and wasn’t even sure it was a good collection. Mat reviewed everything, helped determine what worked together, and hung the pieces beautifully. What stood out most was how reassuring the process felt. Seeing the art on the walls has transformed my space and brought a sense of calm. I was disorganized with a recent move, but Mat was patient, professional, and easy to work with. His expertise and guidance made all the difference, and I’m thrilled with the result.
