I needed a structural engineer to come to our home to look at some cracking that was found in an inspection report. We needed someone urgently who could do an inspection and get a report typed up within 3 days on a home built in 1915. Vadoud responded quickly with a reasonable quote for the work and had it all done by the timeline necessary to get our home sold. We are so grateful and will certainly use his services again in another home that we have that was built in 1902. Thank you!

I began working with Vadoud Dehkharghanian on March 5, 2026, for a structural plan related to removing a wall between my kitchen and living room. I was initially informed that the plan would be completed within approximately three weeks. After a delay, the plan was eventually delivered and promptly submitted for permitting. However, the first issue arose when the plan incorrectly listed the city, which caused further delays in the approval process. I requested a correction, and the revised plan was submitted and ultimately approved. Once construction began, the contractor identified significant discrepancies in the original measurements provided in the plan. This required another revision. The contractor prepared an updated plan and sent it to Vadoud for review. Vadoud indicated that the plan was generally acceptable, noting that he would make a few minor adjustments before stamping it. Over the following four days, I made multiple attempts to follow up regarding the revised plan. Although I was repeatedly told it would be completed “that day,” there was no proactive communication, and responses were only provided after follow-up calls. When the revised plan was finally returned, it contained no changes and was simply stamped as originally submitted by the contractor. This raises a concern: if no revisions were necessary, it is unclear why there was a four-day delay in returning the stamped plan. As a result of these issues—including incorrect initial details and measurement errors—we experienced delays, additional stress, and incurred extra costs from the contractor. At this point, we are now in May and are awaiting approval of the latest revision so the project can be completed. Given the circumstances, we are very dissatisfied with the overall experience. The lack of accuracy, delays in communication, and additional expenses caused by these errors have made what should have been a straightforward project unnecessarily difficult. We respectfully request that appropriate consideration be given for a credit or reimbursement due to the time, cost, and inconvenience incurred.

The communication was terrible. the only time they stuck to the given date something would be happen was the initial visit. We were promised call backs several times staying it would be the next day or couple days and wouldn't hear back till weeks later after we called or texted them. We tried to move forward with purchasing plans but after waiting a couple months they simply stopped responding.

We used Griffin for an addition to our house. Their work was high quality and was very through. But, they were over 30 days late in completing the work and I had to postpone the build until the following spring. They were also very slow in responding to any communication. It could often take them a week to return phone calls or respond to emails or texts.
