Did a good job with getting everything out for a good price but we had a lot of issues with scheduling, cancellations and showing up over an hour late. Our wall was also scratched when moving couch down a flight of stairs but they did accept $25 less than our original price because of that.

Reviews
The service was top-notch from start to finish. Guard Expert Pro was professional, punctual, and worked quickly. He cleared all the mixed trash and boxes efficiently, leaving everything clean in no time. I highly recommend their service and would definitely use them again!
Do not recommend. The person they sent ended up dumping our items in a random parking lot, and we were contacted by the police since our trash had our info on it. Unfortunately, Not professional or trustworthy and cannot recommend to others
Very prompt! They came over right away. Karem was very kind and professional. Thank you!
Quick and efficient. They gave me a reasonable price, showed up on time and took away all of the items I needed gone asap. Would highly recommend and hire again.
Very unprofessional and should be avoided. Had an appointment and they didn’t show up and didn’t reply to phone call or message
I hired them for a paint job. They did not finish the job and left me with ton of clean up to do and charged me an extra $300 in cash. The quality of work is very poor and sloppy. Here is some pictures of the mess I was left with to clean up and the ceiling paint I will have to finish by myself. That is in addition to the clean up I did myself of the paint drips that was everywhere on the upper floor after they painted without any floor protection to the floor
Excellent all around. Quick to reply, friendly, professional - next day arrival. Job done right. Would hire again.
I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring Guard Experts. Based on our experience, I am surprised Thumbtack continues to allow this company to operate on the platform. What should have been a simple junk removal job turned into a nightmare. Their driver backed into our driveway and knocked over a beautiful mature tree on our property just as we were preparing to put our home on the market. After the accident, the driver told us he had prior felony convictions related to driving and made statements that caused us concern about whether he should have been operating the vehicle at all. The owner came to our home, acknowledged the damage, provided insurance information that we were unable to verify through State Farm, and promised to pay for the replacement tree. When we contacted State Farm, we were informed that no policy matching the information provided could be located for that vehicle. We have documentation supporting these events. The following day, the driver returned and removed the fallen tree himself using a manual saw. The owner declined to hire a professional tree company despite my husband and I providing contact information for companies that could properly handle the removal. After that, our calls and messages were largely ignored despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter. It was not until we escalated the issue to Thumbtack that any progress was made. Thumbtack ultimately suspended the company's account, and only then did Guard Experts provide compensation. Even then, the amount paid was nowhere near the value of the mature tree that was destroyed. At the time of our incident, we were also unable to locate an active Virginia business license for this company despite searching publicly available records. There are other recent reviews alleging serious issues as well, including one customer who claimed their junk was improperly dumped on someone else's property. We also observed that photos used on the company's profile appeared to match images used by another local junk removal company called Junk Knight. Accidents can happen, and we would have been much more understanding had the company taken responsibility and handled the situation professionally. Instead, we experienced broken promises, lack of communication, and a prolonged struggle to obtain even partial compensation for the damage they caused. Based on our experience, I would absolutely not recommend Guard Experts.
If I could give it a zero, I would. I just just got a call from my ex-husband who lives in Georgia!!!!! telling me that a lady found my stuff left on her property on the side of the road!!! I guess I accidentally threw away an old check and a document with my exs info, so she called him to let him know she found an old check. She was talking to the cops about the junk dumped on her property. So instead of properly disposing the items, they threw it on someones property, I will be calling her and getting the officers info as well… ridiculous
