Ken really knows his stuff and will make sure that you get good technique but he’s also into the fun side of playing guitar by teaching you songs and jamming with you at the end of the lesson with abandon and full back up sound of his studio equipment. You feel like you’re in a rock band every lesson. He has a professional studio set up so he can also provide you with backing tracks to practice with at home if you’re more technical. I’ve improved a lot thanks to Ken’s fun and informative style of teaching.
quick to assess the needs and what to work on. I have been a guitar player for 33 years so i know a professional when i meet one:)
Ken was totally awesome. His studio was top shelf and setup with the latest in equipment. Which provided an excellent learning environment. Ken is a total professional and I recommend him for all your learning and musical needs.
He's a great guy with good teaching techniques and a sound studio at his fingertips.
I'm really enjoying the lessons ken has provided. He has a good system for teaching and I look forward to each session and learning something new.
Even as a quite advanced guitar player Ken had a lot of material (exercises, songs, theory, etc.) for me to work on and I could easily hear the improvements in my playing as time went on. Above all that, he kept each lesson fun, rather than solely exercises and monotonous work!
We've been working with Ken since September for our 11 year old's electric guitar lessons. We've been pleased with Ken's professionalism, structure and teaching style. Our son has learned a great deal in a short time after being away from lessons for two years and enjoys his lessons a lot. Ken is a great guy to work with and the studio is a nice place for private lessons. We've had the opportunity to meet a few of his other students around my son's lesson times, and it's clear that Ken is able to teach and work with a wide variety of ages and levels. We give Ken our highest recommendation.
I didn't have the pleasure to work with Ken for very long, but with the time we had, he figured out what I needed to improve my playing and pointed me in the right direction. He has a great balance of learning and fun and I enjoyed every lesson.
I am not your typical guitar student; I'm an experienced singer and have played guitar (badly!) for many years. Ken has adapted his teaching to my needs, and I think I'm making great progress. Ken is patient and good-natured, and while he is clear in his corrections, he is always kind. Learning a lot, and having a great time!
Ken is nice and responded very fast to my questions, I purchased guitar lessons for my son birthday, and he was very professional about it.
I had my first lesson with him today. He was very knowledgeable about guitar and already showed me some really cool exercises to.help get me better at theory. Very friendly and fun to take lessons from. I looked forward to future lessons.
Ken is friendly and knowledgeable and I believe my daughter will learn while having fun. The environment is professional but comfortable with a place for me to relax and observe.
