One of the best beginning to end experiences I've had working with someone. Dan was extremely thorough, professional, quick, and responsive. Communications were easy and helpful, with an obvious amount of care from Dan's part--one of the standout reasons I reached out in the first place, hearing that exact thing from other reviews. While the up front cost gave me pause for a moment, upon delivery and completion, it has been one of the few projects on my home's renovation journey that I feel was 100% worth it with not a single bad step (pun intended) along the way. In a world of uncertainty, this is a sure thing!!
If you are thinking about selling your house, please hire Dan instead of painting your banisters and rails. We bought our house about 7 years ago and the previous owners painted the rails for the open house. Bless their hearts, I get it, but please see the before picture. Dan has transformed our home with new banisters and rails that will increase the value if we were to sell. The wrapped carpet on the wall is gone along with the peeling paint. The entire first floor is more open and bright. If you are thinking of selling or staying in your home, new banisters and rails will make a greater visual and tactile impact than new kitchen appliances. Thanks Dan!
Dan is awesome. I needed railings fixed and my stairs tighten due to it being wobbly. He did what he could because come to find out they used cheap wood to make my stairs. He was knowledgeable about material and everything stair related. When it’s time to install new stairs I will be calling him,
Dan was amazing! Very prompt and got the job done in no time. We need someone with stairwell experience - he was able to quickly understand what we needed to modify some curve stair steps to make it more angled so that LVP floor installation could be possible. He was not only prompt, professional, knowledgeable but also offered great value. Will definitely use him again if the opportunity arises! Five stars!

We had Dan convert our stair banister. He did a great job, very professional and easy to work with.
Dan did a great job. Replaced wooden stair spindles with iron balusters, made handrail more stable, and fixed the bottom wood attachment where the balusters drill in on the 2nd floor.
Dan did a fantastic job remodeling our staircase! When we changed our flooring, it no longer matched the wood on our staircase. We wanted to keep some of the old charm, but add modern touches. Dan was able to sand and stain most of our wood and modernize the other parts. He is responsive and very quick. We love it!!!

Dan rebuilt my stair railings to match my floors and refinished the stair box to allow for under stair storage access. Throughout the engagement, he was consultative, responsive, timely, and accommodating. The end result was of a true artisan! Price was fair for the quality and dedication put into the job.
