John followed up almost immediately. He had other projects going on at the same time but fit me in as my supplies came in. He knows what he’s doing, has ideas, makes suggestions and works very efficiently. We will Hire him again.

About Handy Hero
Hello, My name is John Korinek, the proud owner and operator of Handy Hero. Though new to this platform, I have kept regular residential and commercial customers exceedingly pleased for the past few years through my dedication to their projects and prompt service toward their needs. Life has given me wide range of professional experience to make sure every step of your project, big or small, is completed with the highest of quality standards in a reasonable amount of time. I do a lot of larger projects like my featured project for Ms. Wolfe or my ongoing work for Chip Theory Games, however, I cannot stress enough how much I love scheduling smaller tasks too. I do what I do because I have skills that makes people happy, and ultimately I just like seeing people smile. The pictures I have uploaded, and the reviews I have requested from previous/current clients include the following work and/or work with specific materials: (as a legal disclaimer, I am not a licensed electrician or plumber, however I have many years of experience, and will turn down any work outside of my capabilities) demo, subfloor, farming, insulation, plumbing, electrical, networking, drywall, tape and mud, plaster, microcement, onyx, painting, wood flooring, vinyl plank flooring, tile, epoxy floors, epoxy countertops, custom trim, doors, cabinetry, base molding, window casing, crown molding, appliance installation, lighting, concrete pathways, decks of all kinds, parking out wooded backyards, and I am sure I am missing a few things... Many are blown away by how much I can do for them, and how quickly it can be done, thus I encourage you to look through my pictures of work completed in just the past 2 years. Though most of which were not professionally shot, you should come away with the understanding that whether your style is tradition, modern, or something more creative, we will find the exact feel you are looking for.

Great experience, efficient and effective, will definitely be hiring again
John made quick work of installing some bird netting for us. The end result is an attractive and sturdy barrier. We will definitely work with John in the future!
Fabulous, vast knowledge of all things remodeling, electrical, plumbing, deck building, sheet rock, you can’t go wrong and the bonus is super nice guy.
He installed the window curtains and replaced the shower Head . He did an excellent job. Thank you!
John was awesome! He did a variety of tasks for us that would have taken us a day to do without help and he did them in 2 hours! Will definitely be contacting him again!
He arrived on time, worked very well. He finished our original task and then fix another project. Highly recommend him.
John helped us remodel our mud room. It turned out so well! Highly recommend! Attached are before and after photos.
What more could you want in a handyman? He assessed the repairs I needed, explained what was going on, and offered me choices of how to do them. He handled woodwork, painting, and even meticulously cleaned the interior of a storm window before reattaching it. He let me know what other kinds of projects he could handle without upselling or pressure. He cleaned up after the job and offered a fair price for his work. I will definitely be using John’s services again.
John was an excellent find on Task Rabbit. He was responsive, professional, and very easy to work with. I wanted my porch swing to hang from my back porch and he knew exactly how to get it done. He also moved my 9 foot wood steps from one side of the porch to the other. I highly recommend John to help with any of your tasks.
