Jack was an absolute professional, through and through. He was able to do everything I had asked for changing the ceiling light fixture in almost all of the rooms in our house. We used a mix of new-from-the box lighting to vintage lighting.

I highly recommend Jack as an electrician who knows his stuff. He is an excellent troubleshooter, when faced with a repair. Jack repaired a malfunctioning recessed light in my kitchen, when another electrician I hired, had no idea what was wrong. More recently, Jack repaired a GFCI circuit that tripped the circuit breaker, and wouldn’t reset. The connection box located on my storage shed had filled with water during Hurricane Helene. Jack drill several small holes in the bottom of the connector box, so it would never fill with water again, following a storm surge. I am very grateful to Jack.

I was looking for a licensed electrician to hook up a light fixture and add a dimmer switch. I reached out on thumbtack and Mr Harris responded promptly. He was able to take care of my issue very quickly and competently. A very pleasant person I would not hesitate to hire him again for any electrical needs. Be careful there are a lot of unlicensed and uninsured people on thumbtack. I checked DBPR database and Harris Electrical is licensed. Several others that came up along with his listing were not. So if that is important to you when hiring a pro, you might keep that in mind.

Highly satisfied with the installation of a new light fixture. The old one was beyond repair and he even went to a nearby Home Depot to pick up a new one. While he was at my home he also replaced a wall outlet at short notice. Would definitely use again.
Jack was great -- knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Bonus points to him for squeezing in our job right before the holidays after another vendor on this platform gave us the runaround on when he could get the work done and then blaming the Thumbtack app for the reason why he needed to significantly increase the price on his initial quote. Finding a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL on Thumbtack for this job was a nightmare; honestly, pathetic considering how reputable this website used to be. Shame on Thumbtack for selling out their reputation for the opportunity to generate more revenue via lead fees. In any event, RESEARCH who you hire on this platform & do yourself a favor by hiring a LICENSED professional when you need a professional service like electrical work done in your home.
In and out in 30 minutes for a chandelier installation booked the day before

Jack did an awesome job of installing our recess lighting! We were impressed from our initial contact with him and he did not prove us wrong. It was tight quarters from the beginning installing the recess lighting but he found a way to make it work for us and with minimal drywall repair. Outstanding job! Jack relocated our dining room lighting fixture and centered it over the table. Start to finish to cleanup he was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He even discussed the project along the way, showed the items being used and also touched on building code briefly. Great conversation and communication during and prior to hire.
