About Harris Guitar Studio
If your goal is to actually play songs — not get stuck running scales and random exercises — you’re in the right place. I’m Chris, a professional musician based in Los Angeles. I’ve performed and recorded across rock, punk, metal, grunge, and alternative rock, and worked with artists like Ozzy, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie. My work has also been featured on productions for Universal Studios, HBO, FOX, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, and more. I’ve spent 20+ years as a working musician, but what I focus on now is helping students cut through the noise and make real progress on guitar. Most players I meet are stuck. They’ve tried YouTube, memorized random riffs, or taken lessons that didn’t connect. My approach is simple: we focus on the small set of skills that actually show up in real songs, and build from there in a clear, repeatable way. I work with both beginners and experienced players, and every lesson is built around your goals and the music you want to play. I offer a free 30-minute trial lesson where we’ll map out exactly what you need to improve and how to get there. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, let’s get your first lesson scheduled.
