If I could give 0 stars I would. The salesman Steve was pretty nice but everything after that went downhill. They scheduled an appointment after they got me to sign up for 15 months of service. Tech never showed. I had to call at least 5 times in one day just to keep getting passed around with no solution. Finally something was honest and said they double scheduled and a manager would call me to fix it. No call. I call back and now the office is closed. The next day, I wait for a call. No call. I finally got on the phone with someone who was willing to help me cancel my membership. Horrible experience.

Hawx prematurely canceled my contract and charged a cancelation fee of 299. I have asked for a refund as they incorrectly changed a termination fee which after doing research seems to be their common process. They have not responded via email or through the thumbtack app. They have missed 2 of their scheduled services. I have an annual contract with them. I would not reccommend them.
Tricked me into a contract and charged $800 on top of that for rodent issues and they didn't really do anything about the rodents. Appointment delayed for 2 weeks so why did you charge me already?
This was my first time utilizing Hawx Smart Pest Control. I was impressed with their responsiveness during the quote and setting up the first service appointment and then our tech, Marcus T. did a great job taking photos of where he treated and what he actually did. I was very satisfied with his work and could see an immediate difference with the decrease in mosquitoes,etc. Thank you.
This company is Awesome! I had a hornet nest outside my home and was terrified. I called them and got a reasonable quote. They came first thing in the morning and got rid of it for me. The pro Reese was awesome. She on was on time and very thorough. A true pro! I will definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This company is a scam. Do not use I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. Communication was poor from start to finish. My appointment was rescheduled without explanation, and I received little to no notice. When I tried to get answers, I was repeatedly given the runaround. I was unable to reach a manager or supervisor despite multiple requests, and no one seemed willing or able to resolve the issue. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service was incredibly frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company.
Rude. Was not listening to provide a onetime solution. Pushed monthly service treatments and fee and then gave a ridicules fee for one preventative time service.
I needed to remove a giant wasp’s nest from the front of my home. Hawx Pest Control had excellent communication throughout the process. They were able to confirm the job within my very quick timeframe as the house was set to go on market. The pro arrived as promised, removed the nest, and actually provided a full pest treatment for less than a competitor’s bid for nest removal alone! They provided a full digital report of the work which I really liked - and Derek appeared competent, knowledgeable and professional. He really knew his insects and provided valuable advice about pest cycles and prevention. I would highly recommend this service.
I never confirmed an appointment with them. After speaking to someone, I advised that I would call back when I was ready for the service — that was three weeks ago. This morning, I received a call saying they were just one hour away from my property. On top of that, you get a million phone calls from countless people after requesting their company. It feels like they are forcing the service on you. Overall, it was a really bad experience.
I have a rodent issue at my home. I reached out to Hawx and explained the issue over the phone. We discussed pricing and that they were offering an exclusion and trapping service. The technician set a trap outside and two traps inside with some spraying. They then came for an inspection only to tell me that if I wanted a service that actually removed the pest issue it would cost $1800. I would ask them to work on their transport and professionalism. Update: None of the traps they set were effective or caught any mice.
Maybe don't call 11 times in a row.
