They did an awesome job and performed the work outlined in the contract. Excellent communication during the project and I highly recommend. I will be using them again!
I hired Hunter, from HC Strayer Construction, to complete an unfinished bedroom in the basement of my parents home. A drop ceiling with 24” Anderson ceiling tiles was previously installed by another contractor but the tile stopped a foot short of the farthest wall leaving a foot wide section along the entire back wall where the ceiling was open and the joist boards and insulation were visible. Hunter was able to close this section where the ceiling was unfinished by adding drywall and connecting it to the wall as well as right up to the previously installed drop ceiling. The only thing left to do is paint!! The room looks so good now that the ceiling is closed and I can’t wait for family to visit and to see my parent’s guest room in the basement is finally complete. I absolutely recommend HC Strayer Construction for your next home renovation project!! Thank you for your help Hunter!!!
Hunter is great! We've had him do a couple projects on our property including fixing cracks in the exterior of our home and doing work in our barn to an old stone wall that was crumbling. He's easy to communicate with and takes his time planning for each project so that when he comes to work he has everything he needs to get the job done. We are already talking about additional upcoming projects we need help with. I would definitely recommend HC Strayer to friends and family.
Hunter was amazing to work with, truly treated my home as his own. We hired him for a small project, and based on how well that went hired him shortly after for a much larger project… and am already planning the next one that we’ll be reaching out to him for. Finding HC Strayer construction as someone who bought a fixer upper while severely overestimating their DIY skills was a miracle. It’s hard to come by contractors who do great work, at a fair price, have fantastic communication, and are honest. Couldn’t say enough good things!
Highly professional and excellent service. Based on the customer’s need, he offered the exactly correct solution and delivered exactly on time with a great smile!
He got back to me within minutes of posting what I needed done. I sent him a picture of what the issue was and within 4 hrs. Hunter was here and the job was completed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend HC Strayer and would/will definitely hire them again.
