About Hernandez Pimentel Masonry
Hello my name is Edgar Hernandez I am founder of H.P. Masonry alongside my father Rosalio Pimentel Together we have more than 50 years of experience. We recently made the decision to take on thumbtack. No job that we take on is too little and we give fair quotes when meeting with clients.
Reviews
I had a small retaining wall rebuilt in my front yard because the old one was falling apart. I was able to schedule right away and the job was done in a day. The result is exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price, and Hernando was friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend his services. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Edgar was quick to respond. Provided an excellent service at a very reasonable price
Edgar did a great job installing two safety bollards in my garage. Would definitely hire again.
Edgar was a true professional from start to finish. He provided a clear and simple scope of work that explained exactly what he planned to do for the column project, and he exceeded expectations in every way. His workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding, and it was obvious he took pride in making sure the column was built to last for many years. One thing that really stood out was his ability to carefully remove the old mortar by hand with an impact chisel and restore the original brick, which saved us from having to purchase new materials. His skill, creativity, and structural approach gave us a lot of confidence in the durability of the finished work. Edgar has become our go-to contractor for the remaining pillar projects in our homeowners association community, and we look forward to working with him again in the future.
I have nothing but great things to say about Edgar. He was responsive, professional, timely, and did great work. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was all set and took his time to make sure everything was perfect. 12/10!!!
Did a window replacement in a 130yr old house. Crumbling brick around the old window. Removed the window, enlarged the whole, added new brick, installed the window, and cleaned everything up. Great value, everything was cleaner than I expected afterwards
After dealing with problems with 3 other masonry contractors (illness, disappearance, going out of business), Edgar and his colleague Carlos were so responsive and came through in a real pinch to repair damage to the exterior dry stack at our home. Price was reasonable and they were able to fit us in on short notice. Professional guys and good workmanship at a fair price. Thanks Edgar!
I had a very good experience with HP Masonry. Admittedly a "small job" but those are typically the ones most difficult to get a company to respond. Edgar contacted me (from my Thumbtack outreach), was timely in showing up to see the work needed, gave a fair and accurate estimate and was able, schedule-wise, to complete the project. I would not hesitate to contact them again for future projects.
Working with Edgar at Hernandez Pimentel Masonry was a breeze. Edgar was very responsive and always got back to me in a timely manner. He showed up when he said he would, completed the work quickly and accurately and cleaned up after the work was done. He went above & beyond to help me with my project by searching for parts that might be helpful. I will absolutely call Hernandez Pimentel Masonry in the future if I need anything done that is in their scope!
I had a great experience with Edgar. He was professional, easy to communicate with, and delivered excellent results repairing the brick mortar on my 105yr old house. I appreciate his attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. I’d gladly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for masonry repair or restoration.
Edgar was knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. He did an excellent job.
Edgar was a pleasure to work with. He and his crew did an excellent job tuck pointing 2 walls of my brick garage. He gave me a very fair bid and started work within a couple of days. He said it would take 2 days and he finished it when he said he would, cleaning up everything afterwards. I highly recommend him.
Edgar came to our house and gave an estimate for interior tuck pointing. Two days later at the appointed time, his worker came, did the work and cleaned up in one day. The bricks look great!
Very happy with the work done for a small retaining wall on my sunroom's concrete slab in my garden. Very professional and well done!
Edgar and his crew did an amazing job. Easy to work with. Very fair pricing. We would highly recommend it. We are extremely happy with the final result.
Edgar is kind, professional and highly skilled. Competitive pricing against three other bids but the only company with all 5 star reviews. He showed up to start the job to find utility workers needed to be in the same space. He loaded the brick into his truck to be cleaned and showed up the next day and rebuilt a pillar that was hit by a car. It’s the best pillar on the property! I highly recommend Edgar, you will not be disappointed!!!
Edgar did a great job on our exterior bricks that cracked when we leaved the house. I was thinking we would just fill the cracks and he said he could replace the bricks ( which have been very hard to match) and did an excellent job. Now all we have to do is touch up paint. very impressed with his work
Before …After.
we hired Edgar to do a masonry job for us building a small retaining wall in our yard as well as repairing some brick. He was quick to reply to my inquiry as well as quick to come by and bid it. He was professional, and stuck to the schedule he promised. In fact- he even finished a few days early. The work he did was great and I’d highly recommend him as well as hire his company again in the future!
